" Jake Raines is travelling through the gritty sands of the ancient Egyptian dessert to find the legendary golden crystal. He rests for a while by the campfire until something suddenly emerges from the sands beneath him. Oh no! It's the Scarab guardian come to steal the crystal! Can Jake fight it off and emerge with his prize and continue with his quest? Only YOU can decide!
Hello, it is me again, ArtemisFowlGeek back with another information-packed review to satisfy your inquisitive minds. Ok, you said it, it's the PROS and CONS:
PROS
Small, neat set
Good value for money
Equipment that you get (chicken leg, rifle, dynomite, pickaxe, mug, binoculars and 'toolbox')
Golden crystal
Scarab
CONS
The 'toolbox' isn't what I'd call a toolbox. It's more of a crate
The campfire isn't what I'd call a campfire, but mabey im just being choosey...
Jake Raines is in every set. I know he's the main character but please, EVERY SET!
To conclude, this set is well priced, neat and fantastic. The scarab is well designed and it comes with relevant accessories. Probably, the biggest CON is Jake Raines is in nearly every set apart from The Golden Staff Guardians which I have also reviewed. I think it's the same case of the Star Wars LEGO where Anakin and Ahsoka were in nearly every set. Now that was annoying!
So for only £3.99, this set is 5/5!
AS MY SWORN ENEMY THE FLYING MUMMY WOULD SAY:
"AAAAAGGGGGHHHHH GET THE CRYSTAL!!"
KEEP BUILDING ADVENTURERS! :D

" Jay runs after the Skull Motorbike as the mean skeleton Chopov drives way cackling with the Nunchuks of Lightening clenched in his boney fists. Will Jay have the strength and determination to defeat the evil skeleton? Only YOU can decide!
Good day once again my ninjas, it is I, your esteemed Sensei ArtemisFowlGeek and I have for you today the legendary review for the Skull Motorbike! Enjoy:
PROS:
Minifigures-Chopov is such a cool skeleton, on the web image, it shows him without a helmet, but in the set, he comes with one! DO NOT BE DECEIVED! Jay is also very cool, I like his elemental colour and detail on his torso and face.
Nunchuks-WOW. These are so cool I could cry *sob*.
Motorbike-The function is brill. You can squash Jay by flicking the lever and the skull on the front flicks down to the floor, causing Jay or any other minifigure to get squashed! The flames on the back are good and there is relevant space for Chopov to stand.
CONS
Motorbike-Why LEGO, is this a motorbike? I'm no historian on Ancient Japan, but I'm pretty sure they didn't have motorbikes in them days. Also, there is nowhere to put Chopov's axe or the Nunchuks.
To conclude, I'd like to add that this set is VERY good. A good starter to your Ninjago collection for children and collectors alike! Oh, and LEGO, WELL DONE!
AS MY GOOD FRIEND JAY WOULD SAY: "TORNADO OF CREATION!!"
KEEP BUILDING NINJAS!

" The evil skeleton Bonezai walks boldly towards the golden sycthe. He reaches out his arm to grab it from it's stand when he's suddenly on the floor with the sycthe nowhere to be seen....What happens next? Only YOU can decide!
This set is really cool! I LOVE the Ninjago theme as every set I've got from it so far is so detailed and realistic.
PROS
Kai and Bonezai- Very detailed. Bonezai comes with an axe which is cool.
Ambush feature- This is VERY, VERY good. It's just like Kai jumps out of his hiding place in the bamboo to seek revange on the evil skeletons!
CONS
Once again, as with Ninja Training Outpost, there is no CONS!
Well done LEGO! It's such a great set for the price you pay and has so many unique features. If you have any doubts about this set, trust me, coming from an experienced LEGO builder and wise Artemis Fowl fan (it's a book READ IT!) this set is up there in my LEGO collection!!
SO, AS KAI WOULD SAY: "WOULD THAT BE ONE SUGAR, OR TWO?"

" Cole is in the depths of the spinjitzu forest, training hard. He has commanded the small scorpion to fight along side him and his fellow companions. All goes well, until he is summoned to the spinjitzu dojo by Sensei Wu... What could happen next? Only YOU can decide!
This set is small, satisfiying and superb! It's so good, I'm speechless!
PROS
EVEYTHING!!
Cole is a really nice ninja but does anyone else think he comes in one too many sets?
The amount of weapons is sooooo good! You get a bow, a spear, two knives and a katana.
The target is realistic and the knives stick in if you push them at an angle behind the blue bit.
If you have more than one, you can join the stands together to create a tower!
The box is small, so it's using less cardboard.
CONS
Are you serious! If there had to be a CON then it would be that this set didn't come wrapped up in wrapping paper with a little bow on top!
WOW WOW WOW WOW! Another great little set from LEGO! Well done! I'm so glad ninja's are here and I'll DEFINATLEY get more of this theme!
IN THE WORDS OF VERY GOOD FRIEND COLE:
"EASY...NOT SO FAST THERE....WOAH, THIS IS AWESOME!!!"
HAPPY BUILDING!

" Zane commands his Ice Dragon to fly higher, and as he spots the evil skeleton Krazi, he swoops down to attack. Will Krazi get away? Only YOU can decide!
I really, really like this set. I got it quite a long time a go, so it has got a bit dusty sat high-up on my shelf, but it still looks as cool as ever!
PROS
Minifigures- Zane is soooo cool in his dragon suit. It even has his name printed on the back in gold letters. I love his face and his torso is very detailed. Krazi's jester had is funny and is the same one from the old Castle theme.
Dragon- I really like that thing. The head-piece is nice allthough it's made out of rubber and the ball-shooter mechanism works well. I fell in love with it the first time I saw it!
Flag- VERY nice addition but please, does anyone know what it says?
The golden SURIKENS of ice! WHY DOES EVERYONE CALL THEM NINJA-STARS?!
CONS
Krazi needs a weapon. I also collect minifigures so when I got the black ninja, WAY back in series one, I just had this wierd brain-wave to give one of the golden KATANAS to Krazi. And it worked :)
Sometimes, the mysterious flag falls off.
To conclude, as soon as I saw this set I fell in love with it. Zane is my favorite ninja and he doesn't come in many other sets. So, a few things to remember- They're SURIKENS, not ninja stars. The ninja sword is called a KATANA and just to say if you've got the money, and love this set and theme like me, then why not buy it.
I'd like to see more dragons in the future LEGO. But, once again, well done!
IN THE WORDS OF WISE SENSEI WU, "SPINJITZU IS INSIDE EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU."
HAPPY BUILDING NINJAS!

" Master Plo speeds through space in his starfighter. He hears some interferance on his radar. He considers weather to investigate and R7-D4 beeps his opinoin. What will master Plo find? Only YOU can decide!
This set is O.K. I like both the minifigures and really like the Star Wars theme as it has been going for AGES. PROS and CONS it is then:
PROS
Colour scheme- VERY good. The colours work well together and stand out really well.
Minifigures- R7-D4 is cool. I like Plo too. The only thing wrong is his rubbery head.
Cockpit Ejection- Works well
YES! NO FLICK-FIRE MISSLES!
CONS
I can't actually find any CONS for this set! Oh, apart from the... STICKERS! AAAAAAGGGGGHHHHHH!
Well my Padawans, there you have it. The only CON is stickers! Some say that they can't get the ejector seat to work, but when you put the cockpit on, don't press hard so when you press the piece underneath, Master Plo pops right out! Another job well-done LEGO! This set is great, hope it helped everyone!
HAPPY BUILDING AND MAY THE BRICK BE WITH YOU!!!

" The Mandalorian assassins moved in a steady line towards the deserted clone speeder. Suddenly, there's an explosion to the right, and two bomb squad clones appear from the smoke. What happens to the Mandalorians, only YOU can decide!
This set is quite good. It's good value for money and I really like the minifigures. Straight on tho the PROS and CONS!
PROS
Minifigures- Detailed, accurate, love'em!
Speeder- WOW.You look at the picture of it on the site and you think "well that's a bit rubish" but then you're holding it in your hand and you think well "WOW". It's small, fits together well and doesn't fall apart.
Weapons- I like how every minifigure has a different weapon. I also LOVE the hand-held machine cannon.
Helmets- They are very accurate and look quite cute.
NO STICKERS!
CONS
Cannon-With this, its just the tube at the end that keeps falling off for me.
Minifigures- Says on the description that it contains one assassin and three troopers. THERE'S NO DIFFERENCE.
Faces- Not a big problem, but what's with the faces LEGO?
All in all, I like this set. In my humble opinion, I think it's better than the clone one, but you can decide. It's good if you get them both at the same time. So, to conclude my Padawans, and at the risk of sounding cliched:
MAY THE BRICK BE WITH YOU!! HAPPY BUILDING!

" The Clone Biker Advanced Recon Commando (BARC) speeder sped along the rough terrain, meeting the Commander at the command-post. WAIT! But what's this! A Mandalorian scout squad up ahead! What will happen now, only YOU can decide!
This set is average. I like the speeder but, to be quite honest, I think I prefer the other clone battle pack that LEGO made last. As you may have gathered from the title, I'm confused! Why has LEGO put in two bomb squad clones from the animated series, and then gone and added a GREEN Commander and PLAIN WHITE ARF trooper? It doesn't make sense. You stick to one colour like orange or green and then base the set around that. Anyhow, PROS and CONS now:
PROS
Minifigures- I like the new ARF trooper LEGO has made and also the new Commander, I love the bomb squad clones too but they just don't work together..
Speeder- Great, no problems here. The figures fit in well.
NO STICKERS!
CONS
THE BOMB SQUAD DON'T FIT IN!!!!
Playability- As with all battle packs, the playability is low. No enemies.
There's nowhere to put the guns of the clone riding the speeder.
Overall, I'd say this set was average. If you're a collector, or a young child who really want's this set, then get it. The Madalorian battle pack works really well with this one, so if you've got the money, and want to get one to play with, then you might as well get both.
KEEP BUILDING AND "MAY THE BRICK BE WITH YOU!!"

" Mac McLoud zooms through the desert sands on his motorbike. He sees the golden staff ahead, but it's guarded by the fearsome mummies. Does Mac have the brains and strength to defeat them? Only YOU can decide!
This set is really cool and great value for money. Its cheaper than the Mummy Battle Pack but it comes with the same amount of figures. plus a motorbike and shrine thingy. Well, PROS and CONS it is then:
PROS
Minifigures- I love Mac's torso. It works well with the oil stains and is quite funny. The mummies are nice with the plain headresses and double-sided faces.
Motorbike- Well designed, nice colours and space to put Mac's gun and dynomite.
Shrine- I don't know if it's a shrine but it contains the GOLDEN STAFF! It has a mechanism where you can push a switch and the staff pops out.
CONS
Mabey it could've come with a stand for the motorbike as it doesn't stand up on carpets.
Well, over all, this was a superlative set! It comes with Mac who's only in the Pyramid and this set is cheaper than the battle pack but comes with more. This new theme is great for young children as they are quick and easy to build. Great value, I wouldn't have had it any different apart from the one con, but I've added the stand myself (a lever attached to the maroon part of the motorbike). Also, this set had NO STICKERS! YAY! Nobody likes stickers! Once again, well done LEGO!

" Jake Raines swoops down from the sky to snatch the Soul Diamond from its perch at the top of the obelisk. He stretches out the planes grabber arm and pilots the towards the treasure. But wait! What is this! It's the flying mummies come to retrive the long-lost treasure for thier evil master. Who will win this epic sky-battle? Only YOU can decide!
As you may have gathered from the title i am sooo impressed with this set! I am glad that LEGO have decided to bring in Ancient Egypt as a new theme and it's awesome. For those who used to collect the Adventures LEGO, they will know that the plane in this is similar to Sam Sinisters biplane. I shall now go to the pros and cons:
PROS
Minifigures- WOW! Jake is so detailed and has nice decals on his torso. I love his facial expression too. The mummies are superlative! They have eagle head dresses different to the ones from the other sets. The wings on thier back are so deatailed and just, well, great!
Plane-Nothing to say here. Cool! Nice marron-cloloured bricks.
Obelisk-I love it, its quite tall and has nice coloured bricks.
CONS
As some have noticed, the guns on the top of the plane prevent Jake from seeing where he is going.
SOMETIMES, the grabber arm on the plane fails to grab, but only very rareley.
AAAGHHHHHH STICKERS!!!
Don't let the miniscule amount of CONS put you off this wonderfull set. This new theme is great and if you want to buy LEGO, but don't know what set, then get this one. Another great job LEGO, well done!
