" I am over 65 and have been a Lego Builder for about 4 years. My Daughter-in-Law introduced me to Legos as She builds the sets as well.
I pace myself in building the sets as I do not want the build to finish.
The Detective's Office was an enjoyable set to build and I highly recommend this set to all. I have now completed six sets and keep my eye open for Lego to come up with another "expert" set.
Being retired allows me to build when I want to and most of the time I have to push myself to back away as during the build it takes me away from many of my troubling thoughts and I feel good. "
I would recommend this to a friend!

" This is my second modular building. I also own the pet shop, which is a very good set. The outside of the Detective's office is packed with well designed details such as, a fire escape, an alley way, a news paper holder, and much more. Finally we get a barber shop called Al's. There is also a pool hall, a detective's office, which is full of details, and a kitchen. The only problem with the set is that it is hard to get your hands in side of the rooms. However, most people will probably just display it anyway. Overall I think it is a great set that I highly recommend. "

" so you are looking at this saying should I get this is it worth it I would say yes YES it is I have the pet shop and I was looking at all the modulars and like others did not no what to get next so after a month or so I got this one and am so glad I did very good detail in and out look grate next to the pet shop its a bit smaller but I think it looks better 3 in one pool hall detectives office and a barber so if u looking for another or maybe your 1st this is it I had grate building experience its well worth it.. :-) "

" I can't say enough good things about this set. There are many unique and enjoyable micro builds, a ton of rare lego pieces, and you get a ton of bricks for the cost. The bonus "story" that comes with the set is fantastic! When guests ask about this set - I actually pull it out and walk them through the process of smuggling cookies throughout the rooms/buildings. Each of the rooms are fantastic, well fleshed out environments.
More sets like this!!! I can't wait to build off of this one. "
