"The creator town series is a truly fantastic collection of Lego models and this so far is the best one my eldest lad has built (11). The attention to detail with these model is superb and this one is even better. The amount of Lego you get is fantastic especially when compared to Star Wars and the other film sets.

"I enjoy building larger more intricate or functional models with my Grand Children. They are a good learning tool. We have a 9v Lego train collection that we have been working on since the inception of powered track. These models and other 'City' items go well with the trains. We would like to see more frequent releases in this series."

"The Detective Office building itself is a great building. It is very detailed and I had a lot of fun constructing it. My only grievance is with the Police Woman minifigure and her police hat. I struggled for 15 minutes trying to attach the hat to the figure's hand but I could not do it. It was a bit ridiculous to be honest."
I would recommend this to a friend!

You are right that getting the hat attached to her hand can be a bit of a challenge. I would recommend reviewing page 37 in the building instructions as they show how it is possible. It is key to place the 1x1 round plate inside the hat then make sure the minifigure's hand is positioned properly. Good luck!

"This is the only thing my 8 year old son wanted for his birthday. He absolutely loves it! I have to say I am pretty impressed with it myself. The outside of the buildings are very beautiful & there are many more details inside than with most sets. With the number of pieces & the detail I feel it was worth the price."
