" After saving for a while - and continually justifying to myself why I should buy it - I purchased this model.
Over the course of a week I began to build this behemoth of a set slowly, just to eek out the enjoyment of seeing it grow.
There are lots of little build tricks and construction techniques used to make many familiar areas of Hogwarts (if you've built the SaturnV set, you'll be familiar with the structure of the main tower), and despite being designed in microscale the detail included is very impressive.
Yes, as others have said, there are many, many stickers that need applying - but they are worth it as they add so much to the set. Every time that you take a detailed look at them, you discover something new.
There are areas of this set that cover many of the books in the HP series - including an entire room that cannot be seen once the set is built (no spoilers, but it's a nice touch).
Once completed, and a few lights added to it, this becomes more than a playset, it is a focal point for a room.
It is, quite simply, a stunning example of Lego at its best.

" I'm new to modular builds, and after starting with Assembly Square, this was the next must-have.
As this set took shape I kept finding myself smiling at the ingenious combination of elements to create features that make it fantastic; the pool table, the detectives desk, his antique lamp and the water tower to name just a few features.
The addition of barber shop sign as well the stickers on the 'glass' windows gives each part of the set its own character.
Other reviewers have commented on the limited space inside Al's barbers, but to be honest this isn't an issue for me as it is more of a display piece than something to go inside and keep altering positions of the minifigures.
My only concern is for the detective in his office. If he leans on his window, I can see him falling to the ground (unless I have managed to obtain a one of a kind window design - see images)
The whole process of creating these builds is addictive. I bought this (and Assembly Square) in order to build a small amount each week as a way to relax. This hasn't worked, as once the elements start clicking together I can't stop until I've completed it.
Now I need to think about what to add next...

" This set has resulted in an amazing model of the SaturnV that not only looks good standing upright, or resting on its supports, but - thanks to the modular nature of each rocket stage - can be separated into each section and used to really show just how the journey to and from the moon was achieved.
Possibly the best Lego set that has ever been released.
