"I have twin sons that 9 yrs old, I reignited my love of Lego’s when they were about 3 starting with Duplo and moving up from there. They are now both very creative builders and spend hours with Legos. We got them both a Creator set for Christmas (to help them build) and it was a blast, they both had one already. They now have all four of the available sets (cinema, restaurant, bank, detective’s office). I have enjoyed helping them build all four of them, watching them play with them, modifying them and then returning them all back to original. If you have a child that spends as much time as they can playing with legos and building some of the smaller sets on their own I would strongly recommend the purchase. Keep in mind that patience is key and that building is the fun for the parents, sorting and playing is the fun for the kids. Depending on the ability of your builder you will have to decide, but if they love to build and sort you can make a day, weekend or even week of it. Don’t try to hurry, always sort the pieces by steps before you start and then make sure you sort the pieces for each page as you go. It can be easy to get distracted and walk away only to find out 8 pages later you missed something…"
