"An almost replica of 10188 set with some updates, claiming it is UCS set and price hike. It is a general opinion that Lego company is getting "lazy" in designing and creating. This set certainly will catch new fans but as a matter of fact, a huge disappointment for old fans. Why do I need a 10188 set and this set sitting together?"

"I, like, many other Lego fans, built and own previous modular sets. Knowing another new modular set coming always excites me because building them gives me a great sense of accomplishment, mainly due to great level of complexity.
I also had the "privilege" to build this one with my almost 80 year-old father. It was hard for him because he never built anything like this before and hard for him to follow the instruction. We spent four nights building this set with my mother helping sorting the pieces though majority was actually built by me. It was fun family time.
After finishing building it, I felt a sense of disappointment. I don't feel the same level of accomplishment. With my parents checking back and forth of the final work and amazed, I, on the other hand, understood why some of the reviews saying this set is a disappointing one. The level of complexity in this set is not up to par with very limited "wow" factor. This is the tenth set in this line but it shows some sign of "exhaustion" in design idea from the team. There is also a sense of "hike" in price (if that is the reflection of inflation or increase in material cost) which makes me feel this set is bit "overpriced". Finally, I would like to say, "Go, go, go, design team, please continue surprising us with your ideas!" Thanks."
