"While initially I wasn’t too impressed with how the station looked I bought it anyway and haven had any regrets.
Even though it looks small it’s jam packed with details and also new building techniques.
The winter train fits the station nicely, but the platform could’ve been a bit longer.
The busy is a nice extra. All in all a set worth buying."

"Another nice little LEGO Architecture set.
The build was simple and straight forward, producing a good looking LEGO copy of the real thing."

"The designers have done an amazing job in turning the Idea into a set.
Lots of new building techniques were used and even while repeating steps can't be avoided with a round, symmetrical object, somehow it felt like it was kept to a minimum.
The build model is very sturdy, it can be lifted up from the third stage without falling apart in three separate parts.
Part count is a nice gesture to Apollo 11"

"At first I didn't believe the size of this set, for a themed set and comparing to the modular buildings.
Having looked at this set a couple times in the window of the Cardiff LEGO shop, the amount of detail was simply amazing. New things were discovered every time.
I like the use of for example doors as window tiles, the sheer amount of rooms, nooks and crannies and the fact that at most a step had to be repeated twice, unlike for example the cheese slopes on the 1x10's for tower bridge or all the windows with the big Big Ben.
The difficulty was average most of the time, challenging at some moments, the water for example or the tree.
The stud connectors on the ground floor surely have me hope for more buildings this size, or something like and adapter to make it fir in with the modular buildings."
"Another great modular. Good to see the 10th anniversary of the series is celebrated with a special set.
Many intricate details again, as usual, combined with more ornate features on the outside of the buildings and the square.
Nice to have a mix of uses this time, not being restricted to one or two uses of the building."

"A job well done. The portal is well designed, lots of detail, without using too much parts.
The USB cable is long enough to for the portal to be on the coffee table with the console in the tv stand, with a decent size tv.
Lots of playability in the good length levels and adventure worlds, combined with all different themes.
One question that remains is if TLG will come with a disc only version, maybe not now, but in a year or two, in case I upgrade to a PS4, so I don't need to buy the full kit, portal and game, but just the game."

"Detail and playability seem not to go hand in hand with modular buildings. Very detailed modelled, and nice hidden tunnels and doors, but small rooms make it hard to play with them.
Compare this to the Grand Emporium, with it's massive floors and escalators, but all detail we got was a dressing room and small till.
We shouldn't complain too much in my opinion, or we end up with £250 modular buildings that combine both detail and playability."

"A nice little scene, with loads of detail put in a relatively small set. Worth the buy."
