Trying to keep this short. I'm a professional pianist, I like Lego a lot, wanted to have the piano, but hesitated because of the price, but got it anyway. I somewhat regret it. Could've got Barracuda Bay instead and a lot cheaper (still do, hope I will be able to).
The build is impressive and it is very good-looking and well done.
However, the powered-up functions, parts, and all the extra parts required to make the powered-up functions 'work' are totally not worh it. Of course we understand that it won't be like a real grand piano (someone else commented on that). But in this case, the fact that it can move the keys at one predictive pattern and that your phone can play a preprogrammed song meanwhile, is entirely not worth the 100ish extra euros the set costs because of this. The sensor is kinda useless as well since it doesn't matter which key you play.
It kind of feels like an insult to pianists. Like, what were they thinking? Lead designer's wife plays piano, wouldn't she have said something?
Should've kept it just at the build itself and the movements of the mechanic. Those are very impressive. And a lot cheaper.
Could've been super fantastic. Now it's just ok. And expensive.
