This is a personal opinion of the latest Winter Village edition. It is a nice looking set, as every year it looks fun. But what initially started as a Winter Village has become a sort of fantasy world. I would much more appreciate the Charles Dickens style as the toyshop and bakery. Train and station were nice additions, the fire station was excellent but Santa's workshop was completely out of this style as is this new Elves Clubhouse. I think it is a lot of money for an average set. The wafers and bunkbeds are there, but how many times will these be used as they are on the back of the set. I guess the winter theme is mostly used for display purposes and not for playing. Please have a nice addition to the series next year, a town hall, medieval gatehouse, church and I will be back among the fans. But mrs Claus and elves and gingerbread figures are not familiar in our European country. I would be nice if the aim for the US market wasn't that obvious and the extra Limited Editions that come out every year were also eligible for the European market from the start. Now we can preorder as VIP the new Winter Village set and a couple of weeks later, if we order the set then, we'll receive a free limited edition winter set. What's all that about?
