Nothing special...
" This is a pretty good battery box, better than the rechargeable one because it is easier to mount onto technic creations, but there isn't anything special about it, therefore, there isn't much for me to say. So it fits the purpose perfectly, and its on the heavier side. Regardless, still needed, but it's kind of hard to remove the batteries. Overall 5/5, but nothing to remarkable about this. I would like for this model to be used for the next rechargeable battery.

Amazing technic set!
" This set is by far my favourite technic set. It will teach you all about gears, linear actuators, and some really cool building techniques. The design is extremely accurate to the real thing and the functions are defined perfectly. It is a really good set for parts too, if you need some power functions or some parts such as the linear actuator, universal joint, or the gear shift parts.
This set has a lot of functions, one motor is used to control the gear shift, while the other motors have two functions each, totaling 7 functions with only four motors! I thought that the genius behind this was very creative in how to do this, as every motor is effected by the gear shift.
The universal joints and gears are kind of confusing at first, by as I said earlier, it will teach you a lot of techniques. The gears may also take a little longer to understand, but as you play with it (which happens to be really fun!) you will understand.
In conclusion this set is GREAT, besides the brutal price, but it is worth almost every penny. It is really fun to play with once you get the hang of controlling the digging arm, and you will really like the detail. The only thing wrong is that the little motor has a hard time controlling two linear actuators. Not for small children though, unless you are confident in buying it for him/her. The building experience is nice, but if you don't like spending a lot of time in lego, well distribute! Building time for me was 3-4 hrs. Overall 5/5 stars except in the price!

Amazing!
" This is a great technic set. The functions of a real excavator are defined really well and it shows how to have an cross axle turn at an angle ( not featured in many sets, except ones with the Universal Joint).

Great new concept!
" This lego game is the best in my opinion, because it truly takes the definition of lego and turns it into a great game for all ages. Involving building and guessing skills, imagination and creativity, and on top of all that, really fun for the whole family! My only negative thought is the selection of bricks, no 2x1 plate? Any way great game for anyone, but you might need to expand the bricks & help some unexperienced builders!

Not bad
" This lego set is great if you are going to build a clone army. I am glad Lego decided to add a clone commander unlike the other minifigure packs.The walker isn't very stable though, and I expected another clone. The price is heavy for the amount of pieces, buy only if you want to add to your minifigure collection!

" I got this for my little sister for a small Christmas present, and she really liked the puppies and the dog house. The price is high for this small set, and I bought the pink brick bucket with this. With out it, this set wouldn't be too good. Overall, pricey, and you will need another set to bring it out more

" This is a great set for parts or for a nice compliment to the larger motorized bulldozer. The parts are excellent, with tracks, gears, beams, and many others that make this small, compact set awesome. The bulldozer is really strong too.

Huge!
" The looks of this on the website are deceptive, it is a huge base plate, it is 48x48 studs! This is a great play experience, but a bit overpriced, and If you want to build a house get the smaller and lower-priced green one. Overall, I wish there was a different colour option, but a must have for system building.

Great Purchase
" The brickmaster subscription is one of the best investments you can make if your child is a fan of lego. I would think this would be around $50-$60 because each set has about 100 parts, and legos are normally around $0.10 a piece, plus the magazines and $5 coupons. The best part is that when you haven't gotten a lego set in a while, one is waiting for you at the door. A great deal and I strongly recommend it!

The Best purchase!
" This is a great set for experienced and unexperienced builders. This set allows you to make simple or really complex robots. The image editor, sound editor, and remote controlare great additions to the already-awesome NXT 1.0,and you will love the colour sensor. I play with it about 1.5 hours everyday, and I've been a mindstorms fan ever since the RIS, and if you have 1.0 like I do, the possibilities are endless with bigger robots, even RC. Overall 5/5, keep it up lego, great product must buy!
