Fun Fun Fun til Daddy takes the TBird away...
" Okay, so it isn't a TBird, but it has a TBird vibe.
I got this is a freebie with Diagon Alley. I have a Lego Fairground display that I have been working on and knew this little car was going to be great for the vintage beach boardwalk vibe of my ling ago youth.
The build was a fun way to pass a covid hour and I love the way the car, and the couple (danny and sandy vibe on the couple...need some little lego cigarettes rolled up in his sleeve!) look when finished.
As almost everyone has mentioned, the surfboards LOOK great on the sides but are unstable for play or much movement as designed (and lego, please do not insult yet another long-term, experienced lego lover by saying they need to be “installed properly”). Installed per directions, physics dictates that these are for form, not functional play.
I am going to try glue dots to keep the surfboards on the doors.
The only other negative on the set is also a positive.
The windshield! VERY creative way to install and get the overall look desires. Downside is that it doesnt work well visually with the cool, sleek rounded lines of this car. It looks clunky and unfinished. I am going to see if anything can be done to clean up the unfinished upper edge.
Kudos to the original designer for a terrific little vintage car that looks great with multiples of my lego builds. i loved reading his story and wish him continued Lego Ideas success as the Ideas sets continue to be among my favorites in the Lego catalog. "

Delightful and engaging bear with a secret
" This was a delightful build and I love the finished design.
I didn't realize when I purchased this that there was a secret compartment with a special message and space for a little gift or note.
i love the seasonal Lego sets and continue to add to my collection and always have a display on my entry table. This is my favorite of the valentines sets. "

Terrific and surprisingly beautiful BrickHeadz
" I have become a huge fan of the Chinese New Years Lego sets, and was already a fan of BrickHeadz.
I got the pandas as soon as they showed up online.
I LOVE THIS SET!
I enjoyed the entire build. Once all three are built they make a lovely little display. I have them on my entry table with my other Chinese New Year and Valentines BrickHeadz collections. and I enjoy seeing them coming and going. I give the little fella laying on his back a twirl every now and again and find it very enjoyable.
Highly recommend to fans of Chinese New years, BrickHeadz, and Lego animal sets. Winner all around. "
