Beautiful set but instruction issues
" I love the muppets so had to get this set with Bert and Ernie. Love the use of colour and although there are a lot of stickers there are also a lot of detailed pieces in this set. I would have given it 5 stars if the instruction booklet had been up to standard. This is the first set I have ever had problems with.
Firstly the black pages made it almost impossible to see what pieces were needed when they were dark brown - it is actually clearer in the attached photo than with the naked eye. Then there was a section where the instructions missed a step. On one page there was a big hole and in the next step there was suddenly a large plate in that hole, but no mention of installing it anywhere. Lastly, when assembling some of the parts, the illustration would suddenly be from a different angle, without the usual arrows. The angles also made it very difficult to tell which way to put some of the blocks and I had to dismantle things a couple of times when I got to a point and realised I’d chosen the wrong way. Usually the instructions are really specific to ensure you have the pieces pointing the right way, but several times it was down to guesswork. A lovely set overall, but the manually needed to go through a few more checks before release.

Detailed set great to display
" This set has so much detail. It’s great fun to put together and the minifigures really reflect the characters from the show. My only wish is that Eleven had a second face option, as the one she has just looks so grumpy. She does smile during the show, so not sure why we only have one expression. I was slightly worried that the completed set might be fragile and unstable having read some other reviews, but the completed set is actually very sturdy and I have moved it around quite a bit without any issues. If you love Stranger Things then I highly recommend this set. And even if you don’t, it’s still a great build.

First Lego build - amazing
" I haven’t ‘played’ with Lego for about 30 years and the only reason I picked this up is because it was the Disney castle and I love Disney. I had no intention of buying any others. I completed this over 2 days and having never done a Lego kit before I had expected it to be very challenging, but the instructions were very precise and the build experience was relaxing. Very satisfied with the result. It’s incredible and I’m amazed and in awe of the designer. My fingers are now itching for another Lego project as there is just something therapeutic about building with Lego. This will be on display for a month or so while I wait for my new Lego kits to arrive, but it is definitely one I will rebuild in future. Great service and great products. Thanks Lego. (Please note the mini figures Stitch, Chip and Dale do not come with this set. I bought these separately.)
