Awesome!

Mad scientist; 2002
This guy reminds me of Dr. Jekyll, and Mr. Hyde!
He has a double-sided head, one with fairly expected look (given the fact that he is a mad scientist), and the other has bloodshot eyes, and a need for a trim! He even has printed legs!

Is this guy from Italy? That's what the black hair and the mustache will remind you of. This guy is a little different than your standard bad guy. How would they tell them apart in the jail? They're all number 23768!

The only con in the set, is that the astronuat hs the modern helmet, instead of the older long version.
Overall, for only $20 this set is a great addition for any collector.

Buy this first.
" I chose my title for one of two reasons. First off this is a great set for begginers, as it has wheels, windsheilds, and lots of cool pieces, like dumptruck bed, and a scoop, also cool colors. This set is going to help get all that creativity flowing for those early minds. The second I (14+11/12) found this set earlier this year while I was planning to buy set 7248 or 7246, (the digger or the minidigger) a minifig, and some pick-a-brick at the LEGO store. My dad found this set, and said he knew it was a little basic, but he figured I could do something with it. So I decided to try it out. The idea book had some really great ideas, so I tried combining some of them, and got really cool vehicles!

Overall, this set is absolutely wonderful, and deserves full marks. No older kid should look at this set and decide not to buy it because 3 and 4 year olds build with it too. Everybody should buy it for themselves as well as their child. The mind of a child is filled with amazing ideas, and creativity, and I believe this is the set that will help them nurture it.

Another builders dream.
" Unless you have wood floors (and a pillow for your knees) building LEGO structures on the floor can be tough, whereas if you have a baseplate underneath you, it will be a whole lot easier to build. I have so many of theses I usually lose some of them because I store them in so many different places!
Pro's
Stable surface to build on and keep the pieces in one place
Half could be a house and the rest could be the lawn. (Don't you wish your lawn was that green?)

A builders dream
" This baseplate is huge. You can use this to build anything, from a fire station, a train station, a hockey rink, a museum, or maybe a Mars mission Headquarters! Overall, this baseplate seems a little pricey, but is a good bargain, considering the sheer size of this thing (48 studs long, 48 studs wide)
I gave its play expierience full marks, for all the different things you can use it for.

Flying high!
" This set is so incredibly awesome, I barely know how to start describing it. It can be built into a jet, a hovercraft, or a helicopter. I didn't build the hovercraft yet, so I won't include it in this review. Lets go over the two I have built:

This deluxe train set has everything you need for awesome railroad adventures! The infrared remote control operates on 3 different channels at 6 different speeds, and even has a real working horn. Full track includes 20 curved, 8 straight and 2 switching rails. Complete train features engine with working headlights, cargo wagon, caboose, crane car and flatbed car. There's even a roadster, truck and forklift, all with working parts! Includes 5 minifigures with lots of tools and accessories! Includes 20 curved, 8 straight and 2 switching rails for a complete 57" x 33" (145cm x 84cm) track layout! Train has working lights and horn! Included cargo truck has a bed that lifts to unload cargo! Working crane on crane car hoists cargo! The best invention since the wheel.
" If you don't have one of these I can picture your LEGO collection. Teeth marks, scratches, broken parts, etc. If you buy one of these, building (and destoying) anything will be a breeze.

If you buy two of these just put them on the top and bottom of the two stubborn pieces, squeeze, and you can seperate every tough piece.
Overall, I gave this product full marks, because the usefullness is definitely worth $1.69, and it will remove pieces faster allowing you to build faster. Seriously, you should buy these, you will love them as soon as you use them.

Indiana Jones and his father have found the treasure map that leads to the Holy Grail. But a guard is hot on their trail and the motorcycle chase is on!
