Simple, Inexpensive, Very Good
" This set is simple, but very nice to have, for most any experience level. I got my first copy at Legoland California; amazingly inexpensive at $5 US. I bought a second copy (which is rare for me) back in Canada, where I was a bit dissapointed that it sold for $10 Canadian, but still relatively good for the piece count. The model appears to be set in a park.
Because it is simple and generic, it fits well in a Lego town (or possibly other settings), in either one or multiple copies. There aren't enough trees in Lego sets, so this helped boost the vegetation in my town. There are a few flowers growing off the grass, in Light Purple and Flame Yellow-Orange (slightly uncommon). The cherry blossom tree probably adds the most to the piece count, with Bright Green plant leaves with Light Purple and Magenta pieces, and special Red cherry pieces. There is also another plant with special leaves, and a nice White fountain. The 2 minifigures are nice. A man and a woman, each with a fairly simple torso and face print.
So this is a nice set to have for a wide range of fans, but mostly for people who have a Lego town. The simplicity of the pieces keeps the price down without lowering the quality, and making them easier to modify or rebuild with. I bought a second copy, which is rare for me to do with Lego sets. One I modified more, then added them together to form a park. So I recomend this set to anyone who bothered looking at this page; It won't make a big scare in your wallet. "

Very Helpful Tool
" I got my first brick separator on Pick-a-Brick over a year ago. I wish I had gotten one many years before, but it used to be more difficult when it was an online exclusive in green and dark grey (my parents were always poor at online purchases). It works well with the studs and inlets at the front, and the pick at the back. The orange that it now comes in now is not just good for fashion. I have a big Lego collection, but I never lose this thing the way I would lose other pieces; probably because the orange colour makes it stand out. I am glad that this is included with more sets now, so that more builders will get to have one. I got a second one with a large Lord of the Rings set. "

No better than average, but not bad.
" This is my second Creator house set to include a minifigure, after Lighthouse Island. I have the Beach house and Apple Tree house sets which didn't include a minifig.
Most of the pieces and colours are simple and common; I don't want many specialized parts, which Creator is good for, but I like uncommon colours. There are a few interesting pieces to point out, such as the grey modified plates to hold the sliding doors (an interesting feature right there), and a sausage. I appreciate the transition to 16 x 16 plates as bases, as unlike baseplates, they could be built onto hills or connected underneath. The Dark Blue and Bright Green colours are less common, but they were used in Apple Tree House for the same purpose.
The build is simple, but I normally go for the more advanced sets. I still miss the sophisticated style of the pre-minifig era of Creator houses, like 4996, 6754, & 5891. I have built 2 models (not the windmill) with my sister. Those two houses look quite similar to each other. The small size makes it less believable that someone could live there (even for vacation), while allowing minimal space to decorate the interior. But this is forgivable, as I like it that there is an inexpensive way to get a Creator house.
Now finally onto the minifig. As silly as it may sound, I am somewhat mad at Lego for including a male minifig. This is the 5th Creator house with a minifig, and there have been no women by the time of this set. Although this isn't what primarily decide the products gender, I liked it in the old houses which seemed to have a very mixed gender fanbase. They should make at least a third of the Creator minifigs female. Now there is only one, who is paired-up with a male in a new house set. On the main topic; He is composed of simple, common parts with an unprinted torso (being a small set for this range, it won't get too fancy). The skateboard adds to the fun too. "

One of the few mediocre Lego sets
" For the price, this lego set isn't so great. On an airport set, the terminal should be bigger. In this set you have a 1-sided terminal with hardly any floor space inside. I like the plane's colour scheme, but the pieces are too specialized. The specialized pieces and large size of the plane make it expensive. They should of used less of the set's budget on the plane and more on the terminal. The control tower is good. I like the way the windows are layed out, but unfortunately, it's 1-sided. I have no complaints on the baggage carrier. That part was well done. When a new Lego airport is released, it should have a larger terminal, preferably all-sided, and a smaller plane with less specialized pieces (to save money). "
