"I've purchased all the figures so far. I still have to build Commander Cody. Vader was amazing, as was Obi Wan. Luke and Jango Fett were disappointing. (See Jango Review)
I sit on my couch chatting with my wife, and can't stop staring at General Grievous. The mantle was supposed to be temporary, but he seems to be locked in an eternal struggle with Obi Wan. Every few days I change the battle stance between them.
It was great to see this character come together during the build. A truly enjoyable experience to see the internal detail unfold as the figure built out. Well done with this one LEGO.
"I've purchased all the figures so far. I still have to build Commander Cody. Vader was amazing, as was Obi Wan. Grievous was simply brilliant. But this one and Luke were disappointing. Jango was especially disappointing as it's the first character thus far to not have rear leg detail "calves". It makes the character look lanky. I think these characters could be a lot of fun to expand on, but please take the time to increase the quality. I'd rather have paid the $24.99 for a better Luke and a better Jango.
"I haven't purchased a Non-Star Wars Ultimate Collector piece for a long time. I saw the Wall-e and simply had to own it. It's a great piece. Oh to have had those tank treads as a kid... I could have made tons of tanks! But I digress... I highly recommend this set to any fan of the movie. Like most people, I was quite disappointed with the head freely spinning. I think that was poorly done and could easily be rectified. Once I get the time, I'll probably make some adjustments. Also, I was shocked that the hands "wrists" did not have their own range of motion. I haven't studied the movie enough to see if that was indeed a limitation, but I doubt it. All in all though, it was my wife's first ever experience with LEGO and she was quite vexed how how different a skill level people can have!"
