Good set
" It’s been a hot minute since I built or played with this LEGO set, but the playability seems pretty good as it has wheels to “hover” around and stud shooters that serve the function of increasing playability but don’t really ruin the aesthetic of the LEGO set. The minifigs are the true stars of this set even though the tank is nice, as it includes an exclusive Aayla Secura minifig and a Clone Trooper phase 2 gunner. I bought he set for Aayla, but the gunner is a very good minifig that we have never gotten before. The droids are a nice inclusion for army builders and for playability. Overall, it seems to be a little underrated in the LEGO world.

Nice
" This star fighter is a perfect example of what a LEGO set at this value should be. It has nice minifigures, even having an exclusive Clone Wars Anakin. R2-D2’s latest rendition is very detailed and excellent. The Dtarfighter itself is a great spaceship for a kid to play with, and it’s a very sleek star fighter for collectors. The stud shooter add some playability in a very appropriate and aesthetically pleasing place (not sure if the blasters are there in the movie but it looks fairly accurate). It is unfortunate that the spring loaded shooter wasn’t included, but it probably would have stuck out like a sore thumb. I bought this LEGO set for 18.00$ at Walmart and am way more than happy with that particular pricing. Overall great set for the price, nice and well detailed minifigs and one of the sleekest and most aesthetic Lego Star Wars starfightwrs you can get.

Good army builder
" While this battle pack is fairly mediocre, aside from the Endor helmets, it is still nice. The tree is a decent prop, and the speeder is always a great addition. The rebel minifigs are the highlight with the very nicely done helmets, but the imperial side is decent and good for army building.

Spectacular!
" This is one of the best Geonosis sets yet released. The speeder is just as good as the last version (basically just a color difference) and the cannon is a great build and very fun to play with. The unique pieces and more enjoyment to the build, and the features are perfect. The mini figure lineup is nice, the separatist figures aren’t unique by any means, but they are good for army building. Luminary Unduli isn’t my favorite mini dig, but she’s nicely done. Captain Rex is the true attention grabber of this set, as up until this set, he was pretty exclusive. If you don’t know about Captain Rex, he’s a well designed, extremely unique arc trooper variant. Overall ten out of ten

Decent set, great figures.
" This is an example of a set that probably shouldn’t be a play set. The set itself doesn’t really add anything to any battle scene and can be recreated much better by big Mocs. Despite this, the set is okay, just not anything to speak about. The true value comes in the figures. Kylo Ren and his new helmet mold are pretty good, although the helmet is just a bit too cartoonish. The new saber mold is well fitting and close to perfect. Finn is a nice figure to get. Max Karnataka is one of the better figures, as she is exclusive and well translated from in movie to LEGO. The two troopers are great to get and look just as good; it is also pretty awesome to get the ‘traitor’ trooper (although the only difference is his weapon). Getting Han and Cherie would make this set good despite the poor build, but that didn’t happen.

Easily one of the best sets
" This set is just amazing. It is one of the sets that are closest to being perfect. The build is absolutely great and is kind of fun to build. ‘Flying’ this ship around is a lot of fun, and the few features of the set are perfect. The minifigs fit the role of this set very nicely. Ki Adi Mundi is a great figure to get and they did him justice (for the Clone wars version anyways). Cody is nice to see again, and this time they featured the armor additions more accurately. The Geonosian is nice, and accurate to the set. Overall, this set would be much nicer as a AotC version than an Clone Wars version, but that can’t be held against it. It would also be nice if the set consisted of maybe just Geonosians so as to mass this set, but it’s just about perfect the way it is.

Near perfect
" This kind of battle pack has not been long awaited, but it’s immediatly visible that it is almost necessary to the battlepack line. The build is decent and fits the theme, but it isn’t the highlight. The highlight is the minifigs. The Death Troopers are the main thing everyone is going to get this battle pack for, and they deserve a lot of praise. The mold is nice and the detailing is better. The stormtroopers are actually almost more desireable to me. These are the most detailed stormtroopers that have ever been released, and man do they look nice. The only gripe with this battle pack is that the overestimated the role of Death Troopers. Replacing one of the Death Troopers with a stormtrooper would make this battlepack perfect both in general and for the role of making armies. Despite this, I will still mass these but sell many of the death troopers.

Decent and massable mining’s, but stellar set
" This set is much less desirable because of its less recognizable mini digs, but it still earns a good spot in Star Wars battle packs. The minifigures may not be recognizable, but they are great for armies and building Mocs. They are also nicely detailed. What really shines about this set is the actual build, which is surprising for battlepacks. The speeder isn’t the classic version, but is maybe even better, with sleek detailing and nice unique pieces. The machine gun nest looks and feels really good with even more fairly unique pieces. The build is pretty massable and really makes this set.

Nice set, great minifigures.
" Although this set might be better with a more massable third figure, I respect and actually enjoy the decision they made with Jango Fett. For his newest mini figure debut, they should have made a more personalized set for him, but this is fine. The actual build is decent, but really playable and accurate. The minfigures are above average, with the Geonosis droid being cool, the phase 1 clone being more than great as I always want more of this new version, and Jango Fett being just a stellar addition to complete this set. While Jango Fett is not perfect, the new version does compete with the nostalgia of the old one for accuracy and playability. This figure is the Mandalorian who most needed the new design of the separation of the jet pack from the helmet, as there is actually a scene on Kamino in which just that happens. The biggest gripe of this set is actually an extremely insignificant one, the accuracy. It is kind of strange that LEGO designed this set to have all Attack of the Clones exclusive characters with a vehicle that is, as far as I know, exclusively from Revenge of the Sith. However, this is overlookably and doesn’t really detract from the actual set.

If you’re willing to sacrifice and overlook...
" The biggest and most immediate problem with this set is the price. The price for part is way off and I would strongly advise waiting until it is put of clearance for a better price to part ratio (that time is pretty much gone now, though). The second biggest problem is the set’s accuracy. The blaster bolts included in the set are red despite being green in the movie. The cockpit has a weird ridge on the top and doesn’t really come close to the in universe hexagonal shape. I can’t really place it, but the rest of the set doesn’t perfectly capture the movie version and feels sort of strange. However, it is a decent set of the price was dropped or even if the cockpit was shaped better or had more accurate laser bolts. This things can be overlooked, though, if you can spare the money. The figures are actually really good. Kylie Ren is amazingly detailed, and, even though he doesn’t have his helmet anymore which would’ve been nice, it’s more accurate that he doesn’t have it, and better at translating his transformation. The First Order Stormtrooper could have been replaced by a better or more unique dig, but is just fine where it is. The strangest addition to this set, the Special Forces TIE pilot, is probably the best addition (although it would have been much better fitted in the past First Order TIE). This figure is actually one I was waiting for and I was surprised it wasn’t included in the TFA waves. Despite its misplacement, it’s really nice to get and is well detailed. Overall, the set is decent itself and still fun, but the price makes this set almost not worth it and really accentuates the kind of big problems in it. Waiting for another updated version might be a better idea, although I’m not sure they would release would soon again or at all.
