" I bought myself this set rather recently with high hopes. This set exceeded my expectations. The figure printing was absolutely phenomenal. The detail was stupendous! The set itself was small, but that was to be expected with less than 300 pieces. The cycles have excellent color scheme and detail as well as easy shaping for the figures. The play-ability of this set is as basic as it can be, simple wheel rotation and the platform coincide well with each other so that you get a full play experience and display capabilities. Overall my only issue with the set is the pricing. I feel that 35$ is a little expensive for only 230 pieces... If it were priced a level 30$ it would be more understandable. I understand that this is a little nit-picky but it's just my opinion in regards to it's worth. "

Best MEC yet!!!!!
" The Salvage MEC was a very well designed set, it has a perfect balance between both the set itself and the price, along with the set-to-minifig ratio. With all of this said there is always another side, and for mine, that would be the minifigure choices, while yes the skeleton's and ronin were an excellent variation to this set, I personally believe that to keep relation to the actual special of the "Day of the Departed," that it should have been Jay, rather than Nya; but hey thats just me! "

" This build was marvelous, and while the price for it is completely reasonable; I must say it is a bit difficult to handle, along with the amount of room you can place your minifigures on. However that's nothing a little personal modding can't fix! "

Odd shape huh?
" Even though the R.E.X has an odd "Steampunk" shape to it, it has wonderful play features and mobility, i personally think that it's a little over priced but that's just me. it does have it's faults but that's where the magic happens. "
