Hailfire Droid!
" Since I am a Clone Wars fanatic, I bought this for my CW collection, but it could be used also for Episode II as intended.
So, actually you don't see hailfire droids too much if at all in the CW (I'm not speaking in definite terms, but I can't remember any hailfire droids in the CW), but the super battle droids were nice. :D
So first off, the clone lieutenant. A lot of people griped about how a formerly exclusive clone lieutenant poly bag from 2013 I believe was mad non-exclusive in 2015, but I like the extra chance to get the figure. :) The spring-cannons work pretty well and have a good range, and if you move the click-hinges of the wheels you can actually adjust the range of the cannons.
The wheels were fun, in that I got giant clear disks with printing on the edges, but the build was a bit monotonous in that each side of the vehicle was an exact mirror of the other.
However, as you can see, the vehicle only comes with four spring-loaded cannons instead of eight, as the bottom two are fakes. (not a *big* deal...) The twin cannons on the bottom also add additional destruction capability.
Alright, so to sum up, this is an awesome set totally worth the money, and if you can buy a bunch and make an army, 'cause when this thing retires the price is gonna climb. Enjoy!

Senate Commandos - Finally!
" The coming and going of Episode III saw the end of the Clone Wars, and I was afraid that LEGO had finally finished producing CW sets. However, they are going back a few times to bring back some classics. Senate Commando Troopers are no exception.
While I can't remember seeing the cannon in the clone wars, they kind of needed it to make a "battle pack", so I guess it's okay. :)
Senate Commandos: While we never really saw them do anything awesome in the CW,they were very important and provided some target practice for bounty hunters. ;) Captain Argyus played a huge role as well as a Senate Commando Captain.
While their limited appearance was usually accompanied by their deaths, the Senate Commandos are awesome in both animation and minifigure representation. There are three things overall I'd change about this set:
1. Helmets more secure (a lot of people seem to have that problem)
2. Somehow make a scarab shell armor for the shoulder to complete their awesome appearance
3. Use real blasters, not stud blasters
The set also includes some pretty cool maroon-colored pieces in traditional Republic colors, and the cannon was well designed. A huge thumbs-up to LEGO for this one! "

Rey's Speeder
" While I'm more of a CW kind of guy, I figured this was a cheap way to get the lead character of Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens. This speeder, first off, is great for either reenacting Rey's life on Jakku or just a random speeder in a large display; it really is just a generic speeder; no decals, no allegiance to immediately associate it with by appearance. However, it's very unique in that it's not a BARC speeder or one that we've seen before and looks like all the rest.
Minifigures: All right, the minifigs. Rey was necessary for a set that was only her speeder, so no surprises there. One of the things I'm most glad for is that they included both her unique hair element and her unique hood, instead of one or the other. This really expands the ability for reenactment, as you're not stuck with either one element or the other.
Unkar's Thug....I've never seen him in the movie, but I may have missed him. He's cool, in that he has an exclusive robotic face (not exclusive for long!), a gray hood (most are black or blue), and a golden crowbar. Overall though, I'm not too sure what role he plays.
Speeder: I love LEGO's ability to pack functions into even the tiny vehicles. Rey's Speeder is no exception. By turning the bottom engine either way, it opens the sides of the speeder, revealing a storage crate with extra ammo for the stud blasters. This was a neat function, even though it was never seen in the movie. I really like the sticker that LEGO uses for the control panel; it's unique and very interesting.
Overall the speeder was a good size, very movie-accurate with two exceptions: The twin guns in the front were not there in the movie, but I guess LEGO felt obligated to put some weaponry since they have a thug attacking her. Second, in the movie there was a net on the left side of the speeder that Rey would put her findings into. LEGO Rey's Speeder? No net. That would have been an awesome addition. Instead, they put a blaster, buzz saw, and binoculars...? Never saw any of those in the movie - in fact, Rey didn't even know how to use a blaster when she was first given one. (They were nice elements to get, though.) Overall it was a good set, but unless you're an Episode VII enthusiast, I would recommend getting the Rey figure in another set, like the Millennium Falcon, but it's not a bad set to have; again, the speeder is very versatile in how and where it can be used .

Clone Wars Set!!!!!!
" Finally, we get a Clone Wars set again! This is the first clone wars set in a long time, and I was ready for it! I've been wanting this set for 9 years, but never got the chance to buy the first one in 2008. Now, there's a much cheaper one and I grabbed it. First off, I'm a little biased because I love the Clone Wars and this tank, but here it goes.
Tank: First off, there are a few cons that I put up with. Such as the fact that it comes with a Phase II trooper, not a Phase I like the first one. Aside from that, here are the pros and cons:
Pros:
Awesome tank with awesome color scheme
Sturdy build
Comes with new Aayla Secura
Comes with new, exclusive Phase II gunner
Awesome gunner's hatch; I love tanks with hatches that the gunner can raise and look out of, and this has a special handle that allows the gunner to do just that.
Cons:
Guns move individually
Stud cannons :(
A little small
It doesn't have the twin cannons by the cockpit like the 2008 did; if you're going to add weapons, keep it consistent over the years.
Lego has a tendency to use brightly colored bricks to show you that it doesn't matter what color it is, as long as it's covered. Like in the 2011 Sith Nightspeeder, they used red brackets hidden beneath the gray armor. However, this tank uses a forest green 2x8 in the front, which you can see if you look head-on. Why would they do that? Anyway. this is an awesome set, definitely worth the 25, and if I had more money than I do I would buy several more, just for the tanks. Thanks for reading; enjoy the tank!

Bounty Hunter Speeder Bike Battle Pack 75167
" Finally, iconic bounty hunters in a cheap set! (Pair this with the 2015 Senate Commando Battle Pack for an awesome battle!)
Minifigs: First off, all of these characters are not exclusive! Almost all these reviews say that everybody except Dengar are exclusive; they're not. These renditions are exclusive (except for Dengar), but Bossk came in the Super Star Destroyer and Slave I, IG-88 in the earlier Slave I, Dengar in a few others (including a Slave I and the Eclipse Fighter); 4-LOM is the only exclusive one.
With that said, these characters are certainly well-picked for the battle pack, which is the first one to have all-named minifigs (Rebel Trooper Battle Pack 8083 was the first with Zev Senesca). However, the battle pack was initially designed to be able to be bought in large quantities for a large army, as it says on the side of the Snowtrooper Battle Pack (8084), "Build your Army!"However, with all-named-minifigs in a battle pack, you really can't build an army of all the same bounty hunters. Anyway, great minifigs; Bossk was a great addition!
Speeder: Awesome! the uncommon blue used for Aayla Secura is also used for unique detailing on this speeder. With quad cannons and twin stud-shooters, this thing is designed to be deadly. The twin engines on the front are really cool as well, with a third turbine in the back. My only complaint with this is that the handle can't be held by a minifig (only a droid) - as the picture of Bossk in the seat shows. Anyway, a small complaint for a great speeder.
Overall:
Price: 19/20
Minifigures: 20/20
Speeder: 18/20
Pieces: 20/20
Awesomeness: 20/20 :)
Total: 97/100

75168 Yoda's Jedi Starfighter
" To clarify Yoda's Jedi Starfighter, first off, it was seen twice in season 6 of the Clone Wars (the last few episodes, I don't remember the numbers), so for those of you who haven't seen the Clone Wars, this is a set from the CW (with an episode III character...?).
Starfighter: First off, this looks a lot more like an interceptor, but whatever. It's a very good quality, sturdy build like most builds. There are a couple weak spots, like where the wings that the guns are on are attached to the main build. It moves slightly and just feels pretty weak (it's attached by two black technic pins). Other than that, the overall attachment of the four wings to the body is by two technic rods on each side...a little iffy on the strength. But overall, a very secure build with some nice new pieces to add to my collection. The body looks a bit close to a TIE fighter (intentional?), especially with the cockpit view screen with the two rockets underneath. The area behind R2-D2 was a little short, for my preference, but could easily be modified. A last complaint, the guns are a little far apart for a traditional interceptor style, but not too bad (6-8 studs maybe). Overall, it captures the awesome look of an interceptor, as well as the weight of a sturdy build. Yoda fits nicely into the cockpit - however, there is no room for his lightsaber (who really cares?), and is roughly the same size (a little shorter, a little taller) than Anakin's Jedi Interceptor from 2005.
Building tip: If you move the 3x3 wing piece underneath each four wings back one stud, it will prevent the wings from folding all the way down, which is nice for play factor so that you don't have to readjust the wings every time you pick it up or set it down. Lastly, don't expect this to be a small box - the first clue is no spot to open the box with your thumb, like there is on the smaller sets like battle packs. It really is about the size of a $25 set, as you might expect.
Minifigures: Who else do you expect in Yoda's Jedi Starfighter besides Yoda? The CW (Clone Wars) Yoda would have fit better into the actual plot of the vehicle, but episode III wasn't too bad (now I have two!). I've seen a lot of people have issues with R2 being on board. However, he accompanied Yoda in the ship in the CW, so who else do you expect? I think it was a good attention to detail, and it's nice to finally have an entire R2 (I got gypped in 2005 with Anakin's Jedi Interceptor coming only with R2's head...), and the 2005 R2's head looked nice on the 2017 R2 body.
Overall:
Build 19/20
value for money: 19/20
Minifigures: 21/20 :D
Size: 20/20
If you want Yoda or R2, this is a great set to get them in, as well as an awesome looking starfighter (interceptor?) with some cool green spring-loaded shooters.

Great Product
" First off, having never seen Episode III, this model was strictly for my Episode II/Clone Wars collection.
Price:
At $30.00, the price cannot be trumped by any other variation thus far. Yoda was a good addition, as were the battle droids, which seemed to strengthen the Separatist vehicle, but the Kashyyyk trooper seemed to just be thrown in there. the addition of a second Kashyyyk trooper would have increased the value of the set.
Spider Droid:
The Spider Droid is, in my opinion, the Separatist's most logical land vehicle. It would make a stunning addition to any collection, for play factor or looks. Its head rotates, which is nice, and the eyes hinge slightly (I don't know if that's intentional). However, the cannons are fixed, which I would prefer them to swivel, and the legs are not practical for play factor. A blue pin holding the joint in, rather than a tan one, would be preferred, but is easily switched out. Also, the anti-personnel cannon underneath the body is a six-stud shooter, which I am not a fan of. Granted, it provides a bit of real-factor, but the studs are easy to lose, and though it provides you with more than enough (which I don't like the studs being included in the piece count), the time it takes to reload the weapon cancels out the fun factor of firing it.
Dwarf Spider Droid:
Dwarf Spider Droids were always my favorite, after watching Star Wars: The Clone Wars, but this one just doesn't measure up. The cannon is hinged, so if you press on the cannon's firing mechanism, most likely the cannon will move before you fire. Also, when you press down at all, the legs will raise, sitting instead on the transparent 2x2 cylinder underneath. However, the epee for the antenna was a neat and ready addition to my collection, as was the droid itself. LEGO did a good job of capturing the droid's basic form, but the previous cannon would have made it much better, since it would lack the need to be fired.
Minifigures:
The Minifigures, as I've stated, are all interesting and good collection, as my droid army is constantly being diminished by breaking droid arms. I was pleased to see that the Kashyyyk trooper lacked a stud blaster, and instead used the regular blaster. Yoda's new lightsaber blade (being darker green than earlier variations) was interesting, since I didn't know the colors had changed. I have the Clone Wars Yoda, and having the original series' Yoda was a welcome addition.
Summary:
Build: 18/20
Minifigures: 19/20
Price: 20/20
Durability: 15/20
Total: 72/100
