Should have went to Bedrock
" I was really excited when I seen this product was being made. Unfortunately the build didn't live up to the expectation. There are a lot of faults with this set:
1. Once built, there are a lot of gaps in the walls due to them not being layered properly.
2. The build instructions need reviewed. As you complete the exterior and move the interior, you have to fiddle about a lot to get the studs in place. These should have been done at the time of starting the walls, when there was more space to work with or at the very least done when building the furniture rather than being placed separately.
3. The interior is poor. Set should have been done 50% bigger to allow for a proper layout.
4. Lack of key characters such as Pebbles, Bam Bam and Dino.
The idea of the set was great but it was poorly designed and executed. For nostalgia purposes I would recommend getting the set but wait till it goes on sale. "

Nice addition of a classic vehicle
" This set, as with most of the new Batman sets, is a remake of a older set. In this case set 7782. Although the vehicle is that of the 1989 film, it still connects into the new Batcave as the previous set did.
The police car and helicopter are a bit basic and could have been better. The Batwing itself is a nice build but Lego went wrong with the colours. It should have been all black but the underside is mainly light grey which spoils the look a bit in my opinion.
Price is a bit higher than what I think the set is worth, probably £39.99 would have been a more realistic price for the set.
I would recommend this set but I would also suggest reading through the instructions online and purchasing black pieces to replace the grey ones ahead of time. I am doing so now and will replace the light grey pieces to make the Batwing look more like the 1989 film in term of colours. "

Nice remake of a classic
" This Batmobile is a scaled down version of the Ultimate Batmobile set 7784. The mini figures are great, the build of the vehicle was straight forward, but there seems to be a theme with Lego instructions that there are a lot of unnecessary steps or additional pieces that have no bearing on the build itself.
The vehicle itself, as stated, is a scaled down version of 7784. The only 2 changes that I would make to it are to have the turbines at the front turn with the front wheels and to have the Batshield raise via a lever.
Overall a nice addition to the collection and not a bad price. "

As poor as the film its from
" This set is very poor for both value for money and quality. I didn't pay the £12.99 rrp, got it for £1.30 at a supermarket where is was reduced to clear. The set is very basic, no real thought seems to have gone into the set. The turning platforms aren't connected so they spin freely and independently of each other. Would have been better of having the option to control the two platforms via a knob and have the knob pull back to disengage the gears. The characters are new (except stormtrooper) but definitely not worth the RRP.
Build time was approx 20 mins if that.

Good but should be bigger
" I bought this for my 4yr old son who has a lot of the larger City sets. Hoping that he could put his police station, fire station or volcano set on this.
It needs to be twice as big in order to play properly on it. It is good to put a couple of cars on and follow the road round. Double sided gives my son a couple of scenes to spark his imagination.
It is a hard coated cardboard which is very sturdy at the moment. Time will tell if the seems start to go through normal wear and tear.
As with most Lego products on the website, it is a bit over priced but my son loves it so that alone makes it worthwhile

Not the best
" Having looked forward to getting the Millennium Falcon for a while, I was expecting a lot better. As a few reviews have said, there are stickers which are annoying at best.
Pros:
Nice selection of mini figures from the new movie, especially the old Han Solo
Some nice interior designs.
Cons:
Size - Not as big as I would have expected it to be.
Very bare cockpit
Cockpit is totally seperate from the interior of the ship.
Interior has no walls to divide it, only little beams to seperate the rooms
Landing struts are fixed and too short, can't open the short ramp fully to allow a mini figure to fit up it.
The top of the ship opens up in individual triangles, rather than 1 section like other ships (Venator Cruiser, Star Destroyer etc..)
The rear engines, was hoping for a bit more of a build required, but the blue engine glow is a simple piece of tubing, nothing fancy.
The seats for the turrent guns is very basic and looks to have been more of an after thought than a well thoughtout design.
Overall, I would say that this is not worth the money and a disappointment at best. It is fun to build, took me about 3hrs, but that was before the finish product resulted in disappointment. "
