"It looks brilliant it was brilliant to build and the play possibilities are endless. I intend to make this larger adding more bricks to each building and creating more space around the fountain. The only part I don't like are the windows made from shutter/garage door pieces. It's very clever but I'm going to replace them with clear Lego panels.
"I'll be honest I was in two minds whether to buy this set, I just thought if I didn't I'd regret it when it gets retired. Plus the ghost sharks are so awesome but they're not worth spending £180 on. Once the ship is built it does look ace but it doesn't actually do anything. The space on the deck is very limited and every time you try to move the ships position bricks start falling off. If you intend to buy this for display I recommend you look into acquiring a plastic display case to go over it. It's very rickety and fiddly. As soon as a light layer of dust starts to cover it it will be very difficult to remove.
After building this set I can't really see the point of it. For the price Lego Creator sets are miles better."
"I do like this set. I am glad I bought it but I'm so annoyed with Lego for their unforgivable amount of corner cutting.
Barbara Gordon's clipboard is the only unique printed tile used in this set, every other brick with writing on it is done so by a sticker. Absolute rubbish.
If only the best was good enough this version of the set wouldn't have made it to the shelves.
I don't think it's good value for money at all but the building is well designed. I don't think Lego is giving its customers enough credit. Both children and adults dislike stickers."
"I love this set. It's amazing. If I could afford it I would have one in every room of my house........and then I'd buy a bigger house just so I'd have more rooms to fill. It's brilliant. It's really big. It actually makes the Batcave look small. Comparing this to Arkham asylum I think it's got every advantage. All of the Minifigures are awesome especially Poison Ivy of course. The only downside to this set are the stickers. The large translucent one that covers the large cockpit is difficult to position and as I've learnt it can't be peeled off to reposition it. Watch out for that if you're planning to buy this. Which you should......we all should :D."
