Worth it!
" There are a few spoilers for season 8 in this review!
Out of all the season 8 sets, I have found the Temple of Resurrection to be the best. With the variety of minifigures, all three oni masks, a good selection of weaponry and the great end result, this set is definitely worth the seventy dollars!
One of the best parts of this set is of course the selection of minifigures. The exclusive Princess Harumi, Hutchins and season 8 Lord Garmadon figures all have wonderful printing, as do the rest of the figures. However, if Chopper Maroon could have had leg printing, he would be better. It was nice to get a minifigure of Harumi that was in her Jade Princess outfit, instead of her SoG apparel.
The figure (if that's what you want to call it) that I found most disappointing was Baby Wu. He has the exact same facial expression as the baby from the Fun in the Park pack and I would have preferred him in his little hoodie outfit that he wears in the series, since he is no longer so small when the Temple of Resurrection first appears in season 8. That would be my largest complaint, since the rest of the set is phenomenal. (Once it's embellished a bit with some spare pieces.)
Although the Temple of Resurrection itself looks fragile, it actually stays together quite well. The only difficulty that I've had with it is the transformation function, but if you press lightly it should stay intact.
Overall, it's an extremely pleasing set! "

A good use of time and money!
" The water strider is yet another magnificent Ninjago set, that doesn't disappoint. The flexibility of the water strider itself provides easy storage and play. While there are many good things about this set, I'd like to point out a few small flaws that I've found.
Starting with the minifigures, the suit detail is quite nice and the new style of mask is definitely interesting. However, after removing the masks and then placing them back on multiple times, I've found that the face print rubs off too easily. This has been a problem with most newer minifigures that I've gotten, so while it isn't surprising, it is very annoying. I've not had the set for long, but the majority of Kai's face has been rubbed off. Nya's face is also starting to show some wear. I also feel that the weapons for the shark army in general could've been a bit more detailed.
Moving on to the main part of the set. The water strider doesn't have many issues, but as always, the stud shooter has given me some trouble. This is likely operator error, but every time I fire it, I end up losing half the studs and finding them a week later. If you buy this set, or any set with a stud shooter, be sure to use it in an open space and not a cluttered room.
Other than that, I've found no other negatives when it comes to the water strider. I would definitely recommend purchasing it! "

Best part is the vehicles
" This set originally caught my eye because of all the vehicles, which no matter how hard I try to build a car myself is virtually impossible, because I don't have a lot of spare car parts. This made me very happy, because the Tesla (at least I think it's a Tesla) is such a great car, much better than my homemade version. Also like the girl minifigure, which I don't have very many of because I have a lot of the original minifig faces, and if I remember correctly there was only one female face at the beginning of the lego brand. That face is 7 out of 9 female minifig faces I have, not including the one in this set. I also think the tow truck is great. I love attaching it and just pulling the Tesla around with it, although I have not played with cars for years, so if lego can make someone who hasn't played with cars since they were 4 do that, good for them! The one downside for me is all the.................. wait for it ................... STICKERS!!!! I can never get those nasty little things straight, although I am proud of myself for lining up the giant Octan sticker perfectly. :D Anyhow, great set! Strongly suggest to all my lego friends! "

LOVE IT.... But
" Ok, so great set, but the downside for me is..... WHY NOT ACTUAL HARLEY QUINN!!!! My favorite character, and you put in Harleen Quinzel instead! I get that this is the only set she's in, but I was seriously hoping that Harley, and not Harleen would be in this set! And I extremely dislike having to feel through the minifig bags to find Harley. Complete waste of time, because that particular store didn't have her. Anyhow, love all the other minifigures, but it would be nice if they weren't wearing jumpsuits, like one of the other reviews said. Also like how it comes with the little food pieces such as the watermelon and donut. Details are what makes a set great, and although not as detailed as the Friend's Theme Park for example, it is still very enjoyable. And since this cost almost all my money that I'm willing to spend on legos, I won't be buying any other sets from the movie, but they might get a visit from Jestro and the Nexo Knights. Maybe Joker could give Jestro a few tips on actually being "funny" in his own evil way. "
