Lots of playability. Some nice new parts.
" This set is a fun build and the playability value is very high. The new corrugated bricks that make up the container are a great addition to Lego's parts selection. One suggestion would be for Lego to make the undersides of their aircraft fuselage in colors other than dark grey. Having those parts in the same color as the top would look better AND give us those parts in a wider selection of colors. Overall, nice work on this set by Lego. "

Overpriced and backwards
" We're huge fans of Lego and usually collect the fire sets. However, this set is disappointing in a couple of areas. First, it's WAY overpriced. It feels much more like a $30 set. (Interestingly enough, the piece count is 1/3 that of the fire station.) Secondly, it's designed backwards. Tiller fire trucks have the ladder mounted in the middle and not at the back. Yes, it's a kids' toy and realism is not the primary concern, but this inaccuracy is a silly mistake. "
