Army builder
" This set is a great army builder for the resistance. The mini-figures are fantastic and the speeder is well put together.
Pros:
3 resistance troopers
1 officer
3 of the new helmets
The officer has a nice headpiece and one of the soldiers has a fun mustache. The gun on the speeder is removable which is nice. It can then be held off of the speeder by one of the mini-figures.
Cons:
The guns.
I'm really tired of the stud shooters personally and now I just have 4 more of them. I wouldn't mind one or two but after having 4 sets last year give the stud shooters and two more this year it's just a bit much.

Good Purchase
" A pretty good purchase. Looks great sitting next to Poe's X-wing and my B-wing. An excellent addition to a set of iconic star wars ships. It was fun to build, did it one sitting. My main complaint is one that I have will all of the recent lego sets, especially one that costs as much as this one and that's STICKERS. I really hate putting on stickers, I feel that having to put them on detracts from the value of the set and for me personally I would rather just have them printed on so they are uniform and symmetric and all that good stuff. It is especially frustrating on such an expensive set, but other than the stickers it's a good set and worth the price. It holds a /lot/ of mini-figures. At present I have 15 minifigures and 2 astromechs in the ship and there is still room for a few more.
A quick summary of pro's and con's
Pros: Easy to access inside
Movie-accurate
Excellent selection of mini-figures
Cons:
Stickers
Awkward to hold
Two panels don't open up.
Just to elaborate on the cons, the stickers I covered, but it is awkward to hold. I would have liked a handle or something similar to the Jedi Defender-Class Cruiser (75025) which has a convenient handle. Its easy to hold with two hands, just would be nice if there were one solid spot that was easy to lift and move with, but again that's such a minor thing.
With the panels, all but two sections open up to provide access to the ship. You can see that in the pictures on the site and it's not a big deal it just makes it a little bit harder to access the ship ramp and hidden compartment.
It really was a fun ship to build. As I was building the set I realized at about bag 2 or 3 that I was building clutter, pipes on the ground, boxes, crates, etc and that was such a small detail but it contributes so much to the ship. As I was writing this my dad walked in and got excited by the ship "oh man" "That's great" which was fun. Great ship for any level of star wars fan. The ship really is fantastic, there are the cons but they're minor compared to the overall set.
Only other thing that comes to mind when finishing up the review is the cockpit. It holds on fine, but it can be a bit hard to get it to connect at all three points but even connected at one or two it holds fine. "
