"A super Lego set, there are levels of desire when thinking about a purchase, this is a "where is my credit card?". Somewhat challenging at times,an incredible amount of work has clearly gone into this, the interior of the model is amazing. When I was building this,I thought of the "ancient aliens" tv show, the explanations being that this is too difficult for humans to do on their own.Well worth the money. My pictures are the Lego kit and my scale flying model, the Lego kit was a much easier build...."
"A nice set, which has a lot of play value and is very affordable. The assembled animal (I have only built the rex) feels sturdy and unlikely to fall apart. I would even like to see some larger dinosaur animals, there are a total of 4 different animals that can be built, I'll look at the trex for awhile, then build a different one. I gave one of these to our toy drive and am pleased with the set after I built one for me,now,as an "adult" I can afford Legos, most of my builds are holiday related, this was actually the first non-holiday set I've built,I suppose, for the price,I could just get 3 more and have an entire dino zoo."
"A very enjoyable game, with a lot of appeal for older players who remember the good old days....where are my rose sun glasses? Any game a person plays,no matter what has a learning curve, and no matter how difficult it seems at first, they always get easier, more or less. I like playing many of the games-Robotron is my favorite, being able to play the arcade games at home is super,so many quarters saved. Super job Lego! As an older fan,I really appreciate this game, a number of the other Dimensions games have little hat tips to the past world of entertainment,it doesn't go unnoticed."
"This set is super! My first Lego train, and it's been fun to play with,I also bought the motorized accessories, and they really complete the set.I bought more track and the switching tracks,a circle isn't enough. The spinning tree is great, but took me a few tries to get it working properly. The fit for the motor also took some work to get it to spin freely.Well worth the money, fun to build, and set up.Lots of little details, just what I've come to expect from Lego."
"This starts my multipart review of the set.I have built the Batmobile so far, having just received this.As a fan of classic Batman, this was a simple decision to buy. The Batmobile is super!,looks great, the shooting missiles are cute,Batman fits inside,it has classic details fans will recognize, the phone,bat-turn lever. Not everything can be included, there is no parachute, but Batman seemed to come up with any item he needed at the time,so some omissions are ok.Check back for more."
"At first I had trouble figuring out the portals, while I'd played the pc halflife2,which was not anything like the first,I'd never played portal, expecting it to be similar in worth.I wish I'd have played pc portal. I like Glados, very amusing for a deadly computer.I've only played the level, which went by ,maybe a bit fast, but it was enjoyable.A bit different play, figuring out puzzles.I expect portal world will be interesting as well. The level pack is worth buying and Chell will come in handy in the other worlds."
"One of the coolest fun packs, the cyberman has lots of abilities,he has quite a bit to say too.Too bad the dalek can't speak. Very versatile character,he even dances a cyberman dance! With his silver blowup, tech and drone along with other abilities,he always comes in handy. I think all the dimensions characters are fun,in their own particular way, but cyberman is one of the super ones."
"Fun level pack, reminded me a bit of the Ghostbusters ps3 game. The ghost trapping is nice and simple,Dr.Venckman has some good moves, lots of movie lines,a little artistic license taken.....Definitely worth buying,I played the Ghostbuster level which took 2 hours or so,a little minigame in itself, considering how quickly some games can be beaten. I'll get to Ghostbuster world later,a super item for anyone, and if you are a movie fan, even better."
"Firstly I've got a lot of gaming experience on pc and consoles,I do like the Lego game,it's very creative and has a lot of neat incorporations of characters, their mannerisms, statements overall I think quite a bit of thought went into this-I really liked seeing HAL at the end of the aperture science center episode,it's things like that I like. There is a lot of space to explore, some worlds are smaller than others, just like some of the characters do more than others. There are some issues with glitches,at times the game will lock up and you have to manually turn off the console,a real mood killer-save often!I think this seems to happen when removing characters, then sometimes loading itself gets stuck and I have to turn off and start over.I do wish the cinematics were character specific to the ones on the toypad.I've got 40 some hours of play into the game and can see many more ahead,I've customized some of the vehicles/gadgets for storage purposes and am going to make a list of abilities to help me remember who and what does what. All things considered it's a very entertaining game,I 'd been playing destiny for the last year or so.....it's a neat change. There are a lot of characters to collect if you want, some have redundant abilities and aren't really necessary, but there are some a person needs to complete 100%,I don't see that as a fault,it's just the way the game is,but I would like to have those glitches addressed."
