Cool ships, but not the best value
" I hesitated to buy this set because I haven't seen the Rebels series, and because the A-wing didn't look as attractive as the one in Return of the Jedi (set 75003), which I already owned. But I'm glad I got it. The A-wing is much more satisfying than it looks in the photos, and the firing mechanism is quite clever. I had expected to enjoy the set more for Vader's TIE Advanced, but I actually prefer the A-wing. Not that there's anything wrong with the Advanced, but as with all of the TIE vehicles, the build gets a bit repetitive once you get to the side panels.
As other reviewers have commented, the price ($90) is a little high for what you get. If your LEGO dollars are limited, I would prioritize Poe's X-Wing or the Resistance X-Wing (at a lower price point) or the Shuttle Tydirium (higher price point, but 200 more pieces and a really satisfying build).
