Poe's Personal Starfighter
" I've been after this since Christmas, seemed to be flying off the shelves quickly over the festive season but now things have calmed down I managed to pick one up.
Although it's basically the old X Wing but in different colours it's still a great build and is sitting nicely alongside the First Order Special Forces Tie Fighter in my collection. I have to go along with a couple of comments about the spring loaded shooters in that I'm not a fan.
Overall I'm very happy with this excellent representation of the iconic Star Wars fighter. There are just the right amount of mini figures and the cost is acceptable for the number of pieces and the complexity of the build.
Another good effort from LEGO, thanks. "

Chewie, where home.
" This is by far the biggest and best LEGO Star Wars set I have had the pleasure to build and as an avid Star Wars fan I'm so glad to own this set. Got it for Christmas but didn't get to build it until the 30th, needless to say I was itching to get started for days.
It's a challenging build but I managed to tackle it in about 5 hours with almost non stop building. I can't really comment on the build other than to say I was impressed by the LEGO designers use of materials to reproduce the classic falcon shape but they have had a couple of opportunities practice in the past.
The mini figures are about right but I would perhaps not have included the Kanji Klub gang members.

No life forms were aboard!
" Bought this along with the Hoth battle set, it was a very good set in my opinion, much improved on the previous offerings. I like the escape pod and the way it opens, although there are a few stickers these really add good detail to the set.
C3P0 and R2-D2 are both included along with two Jawas making this a good set for mini figures with a low price tag. I'd like to see a new Tattoine Sand trooper set (with Dewback) to augment this set????

Imperial troops have entered the base.............
" Went into the LEGO store looking for Poe's X-Wing but unfortunately it was out of stock for Christmas, five minutes later I walked out with this and the new Droid Escape kit. Suffice to say they were both well worth the money (or more precisely the vouchers I had for Christmas). The build was relatively easy and I loved the gear mechanism for turning the turret, not sure about the spring loaded shooters in the turret but then I'm not a fan of these. Good number of mini figures for the money but I would have liked to see another rebel snow soldier instead of Han Solo. Sad I know, but I had to add it to my AT-AT and Snowspeeder set along with a couple of extra mini figures to create a diorama (see pics) from Star Wars The Empire Strikes Back. Enjoy.
