Come sail away.
" The new LEGO Creator Xtra Sea Playmat set number 853841 is $7.99 and measures over 9" square. There are 11 pieces included in the set they are two playmats, a crab and some bricks to connect the playmats. Each playmat is laminated double sided print and has four different designs in all. The sea has a large and small beach, a pier, cobble stone parking area and a large playmat with all water.
Positive;
Excellent price for what you get. New way to set up your play area as well as displays. With a easy flip or turn on the playmat you change layout of your sea. Moving the plates or putting them away is easy as unhooking your corner connections then pick up and move. Great play ability if you are on carpet. The Lego Xtra Playmats line made it so that the park (853842) and road (853840) sets can be attached as well. The details on the sea prints are outstanding, there are small shells, rocks, a pier to launch your boat and very detailed water..

Some of the playmats don't lay completely flat however I found if you use a 2x2 plate (not the 2x2 brick that is in the set) in the connection points then your 2x8 or 8x8 plate this seams to help better to lay more flat. I also would not recommend getting the playmats wet as it will warp them. You can clean them off with a lightly damp cloth then dry it.

Over all I would love to see some Lego Star Wars playmats.

A walk in the park.

There are 11 pieces included in the set they are two playmats, a snake and some bricks to connect the playmats. Each playmat is laminated double sided print and has four different designs in all. The Park has a bike path, garden, short dirt road and a small pond.

On the road again.

The roads have two turning a straight way and a t intersection with cross walk.

" LEGO Fantastic Beasts set number 75951 comes with 132 pieces and only $19.99. This set will blow you away with all the new pieces and mini figures. First I have to say that the Thestal with posable wings is extremely well done. This is what really cough my eye. The wings are made of a softer plastic like the wands and plants material. This gives it a great feel to the figure. Gellert Grindelwald and Seraphina Picquery mini figures will blow you away. The new print detail are fresh and outstanding, with their custom wands really makes them stand out. Now about the new spell shooter accessories, I was thinking they would just pop off and fall when you press them, however they are so well designed that they shoot where you want them too go (about a foot or so watch where you shoot so not to lose them as well as, don't aim at people or pets please). The carriage is very detail with a lot of functions and is much bigger in the inside then you might think. The doors are a new design and new colored (plant) pieces. The wheels and harness move freely for excellent playability and posing. But I feel the back large wheels are a bit lose that causes them to bow out just a little, but with ease of the wheel spinning its fine in my book.
Positive;
Great price point at just under $20.00, with 2 new mini figures and the Thestal. It is a easy build and great for all ages over 7. Love the new pieces, designs and the great spell shooters action. Lots of room to put your figures on for the ride.

It was hard to find anything that was negative to say about the set. I would have liked to see one or two extra spell shooters included in this set like Lego normally does with other sets with shooters.

So over all I would say it is a great buy and must get for anyone that is into Fantastic Beasts and the Magical World of Harry Potter. The set is also a great starter set to anyone thinking of getting in to building with LEGO. The set is also a great idea for giving as a gift to someone.

Is it cold in here?
" I was very excited about this new set for my Hoth set up. We get new figures and a great layout for the medical center. There are 255 pieces and is a straight forward build and is set up so you can display it open or closed. There are a lot of great play features and endless ways you can change or integrate it to other set or you own build. You also get some great extras like the scissors , medical syringes, cup and bottle. There are several drawers and storage compartments to put all your accessories.
Positive;
Great price for what you get, it coming in just under $30.00. Four great figures, Luke and Leia with two new expressions and prints. The 2-1 B and FX-7 droids are very sturdy and detailed. Your able to set up the new set with other sets from Hoth with ease. You have the options to expand or close your set depending on what you like and space available to you.

Negative;
I did have problems getting the FX-7 droid assembled as shown by directions from bag 3, page 48 step 4. When pushing the parts from page 47, step 3 to step 4 was a very tight fix for the part (bar 6L with stop ring) #6081987 into the part (plate round 1x1 open stud) #6168645. However I found if you fix the parts together then take it apart once it on its own before assembling step 4 it will make it easier when you do this step.
I did have problems getting the FX-7 droid assembled as shown by directions from bag 3, page 48 step 4. When pushing the parts from page 47, step 3 to step 4 was a very tight fix for the part (bar 6L with stop ring) #6081987 into the part (plate round 1x1 open stud) #6168645. However I found if you fix the parts together then take it apart once it on its own before assembling step 4 it will make it easier when you do this step.
I also would have liked to have had a way to "snap" or "lock" the set in the closed position so it is more sturdy. I put in a few extra parts using clip and handle to "lock" it in the closed position.
Over all I would say this is a must have for anyone that is into Star Wars and great for younger builders. It has endless play options for everyone.

New Arctic Theme Starter Set.
" The new Arctic sets are outstanding and a must have. The Arctic Exploration set (60191) comes with 3 figures and a husky dog. There are 70 parts in the set, it is a straight forward and easy set to put together. There are new prints and parts in this set and a great starter set for the new Arctic theme.
Positive; 3 great new prints for mini figure and dog. there are no stickers. Great price point at under $10.00.
Negative; The only issue that I could find was the rear "track" for the snow machine is a Technic pcs and not a track. They are smaller then the front ski's so it looks even smaller. I would recommend using a larger Technic parts or even with small track.
So over all this is a fun and great set for all ages it has great parts for replay ability. So I would say a must have.

"I can do this"
" I have be waiting for this LEGO set to hit shelf's after seeing it on the Lego Ideas site. The build did not disappoint me at all. It was a well thought out designs and great use of colors and bricks. With a well balanced out display they light cycles really pop! The set is a great display point and has great play ability. You can even use the parts to build your own 4 wheel drive for Quorra!
I see that there are some that think the price is a little to high, however once you build it and see what all went into this great build you will see that it is worth it. New figures, colors and parts. All new MOC's are sure to come from this great Lego Ideas build. Hats off to the brothers who's vision made it all the way (sorry I couldn't meet you in person at the signing) and the designers that really cared about this project to make sure it was so perfect.

Dozer power plus
" This 2017 Lego Technic set is one that keeps on giving. The set has two instructions for building. The Dozer Compactor and the Articulated Truck.
The set has some real nice colors and unique parts. You can rebuild again and again then change it up by creating your own ideas. Sporting 171 parts. The huge spiked wheels (plastic not rubber) are great to dig your way in your Lego world.
Stickers; there are eight total stickers that go on very easy and align well.
Build; The build is very straight forward as a Lego Technic and can be used as a starter set for those just getting into the Technic building sets. As you may already know when building Lego Technic that there are moving gears, make sure you double check the alignment so the parts go in the right direction. This will keep you from having to take it apart to correct a miss aligned peace. Step 45 in the instruction for the Dozer Compactor is a tight fix and you may end up removing the part and work the red cross axle (6) (613002) down to be flush on the gear a shown.
The only thing I would change on this build is step 32, I would use a Technic, Gear 20 Tooth Double Bevel (6093977) in place of Technic, Axle Connector 3L (6196757) for steering. But this only my preference because I like larger gears to turn as smaller ones can be harder to turn sometimes.

Jawas watch out!
" When I saw that the Sandspeeder was now for sale I rushed out to get it. I got one of the last one on the shelf! And this kit did not fail to impress me. The kit makes great use of sand colors with just enough darker colors to really make it pop.
The set has two mini figures with each having two new face prints. The visors are also printed on the heads. They each have a blaster pistol. The helmets are very detailed with over a dozen new markings, I'm not sure if they are new rebel markings or something that is coming out in the new movie. They have prints on the front and back of the body as well as the legs, these also are new and very detailed.
The main build is very well designed, it has two flick missiles under the front of the Sandspeeder and a rear flick gun that can turn 360. There are fins on each side that can be moved up to give it a appearance of turning. The cockpit has two new different computer prints (1x2) that are also very detailed. The mini figures fit in very well and firm so they don't fall out. The rear gunner has a very interesting way of fitting in, the legs go up under the rear computer. Both figures must be almost leaning back almost helmet to helmet so the canopy can close. The glass canopy is two parts, with the front larger part having a nice clean print on it. I was very glad to see this on this set. As before we had sets that have stickers to put on the canopys. As you know sometimes getting the sticker just right is a challenge on its own. With talking about stickers this set has three. One for each of the two fins on the wings and one on the front slope of the Sandspeeder.
The second build that is in the set is a antenna or a "moisture evaporator". It has a very straight forward build and has great play with the moving parts that make it so you can "shoot" or knock it over. This will reveal a hiding spot under the rock where your can put the gray snake that is in the set.
Extras; The set has only three extra parts in it, this is a tan 1x1 cheese slope, clear red round 1x1 and push pin for the flick gun.
Positives; Great new mini figures, face and helmets. The Sandspeeder is also a very interesting take on the iconic "Snowspeeder" style. The cool snake as a little extra pop for the set. The new brick prints are very nice to have. It was very reasonably priced for brick count and mini figures. With all the different moving parts you will have great playing ability. This is a set that I will be buying two of because it is so well done.
The only thing is I would give a warning when doing step 54 on page 46 and step 80 on page 63. This is where you attach the wings to the main body. Make sure you line up your parts (6015356) and parts (4211552) and push them in a little at a time so you don't pop off other parts on the main body. It is a very nice snug part that keeps the wings nice and tight on the main body.
Negative. Finding any negative item on this set was very small because it is a great build. If I had to say anything is that the canopy is two parts and is held on the main body with only one line of studs that are four wide. When you open the canopy the parts sometimes come apart in this area. The canopy when closed has a very slight gap at the front because it does not attach to any studs.
So over all I give this set a big thumbs up and a must have for Lego and Star Wars fans and a great set for anyone just starting to build Lego.

" Great kit, cant wait till they come out with the Battle Droid, C3-PO and R2-D2 come out in this style!
Only recommend that back side of these kits have parts too, I would gladly spend couple extra bucks to have armor and parts to cover up the skeleton.
