Excellent Set To Build And Play With
" We have now got all the dragon sets apart from the Secret Market Place. The Fire Dragon set is the best so far and well worth the price tag. The fire dragon is considerably larger than the water dragon and very impressive when complete. I particularly like the water well, which you can change from blue water to green poison. If the dragon drinks the poison, she becomes evil and you can change the jewel on the dragon's head to show that this has happened. This simple scenario has fired my daughter's imagination and it is very pleasing to see her invent ways for the Elves to save the dragon and make her good again. As I have mentioned in other reviews it is great to see how interested my daughter is in how the various moving parts work, and I hope Lego can include more of these features in future sets.
The following comments were written by my seven-year-old daughter:
I am really interested that the lava moves so you can get into the cave. It is exciting because Zonya the dragon can hold someone at the end of her tail. Her wings are bigger than the water dragon's and she has jewels on her knees.

A Good Place To Stay And Eat
" This is a great play set with three different sections to build. The rotating telescope was a bit testing for my daughter to do but she managed to complete it without too much help from me. Actually it was very pleasing just how little assistance she needed from me. Generally I was only there to pass pieces to her as she followed the instructions. There are are lots of little details to the Inn section, I particularly like the bay windows on the second floor and the way you can turn the flames up and down on the stove.
The following comments were written by my seven-year-old daughter:
I like the Starlight Inn because the telescope moves to release a hidden key. Also, I love the baby dragon called Spark. There are some secret places like the drawer that hides the bag with the special compass

Brilliant for father and daughter.
" My daughter is in the process of collecting all the Elves theme and this was the first of the new Dragons range that she has bought. The dragon is very mobile and I was extemely pleased to see how interested she was in how all the various joints work. All the Elves products have moving parts and I feel it is a good way to get young girls interested in the more 'technical' aspects of building with Lego. My only complaint is that I'm not allowed to play with it when she's not there.
The following comments have been written by my seven-year-old daughter:
I like the moving parts. The wings move really well because they only have one link to the body. I love the hiding place for the binoculars and the cookie thrower. Also, I bought another one for my best friend for her birthday.
