Almost as good as the real car
" As a Focus ST and Focus RS owner, it's cool to see this set come out (or wished the Technic Rally Car set would have been based on the RS) and build it. I started building it in one location and finished it at home, but it took about an hour. This is my first set of this series and found it to e a relatively interesting build. I may be old, but I'm still surprised at hw many 'custom' pieces are coming in new sets. The dark blue base color was a nice touch, complimented the design of the car well.
Not bad for an early birthday present. Now onto the Saturn V and rebuilding of my UCS Star Wars ones that fell off a shelf. "

From An Owner of Both
" I owned a 2008 BMW GS Adventure which I took across the country and back solo. I was excited to see LEGO great this set and was excited to build it. I loved the detail put into the boxer engine as well as the Technic links to ensuring replication of the bike's own final drive (shaft). A nice surprise was the top and side cases which, like my real bike, were functional and brought the look of the model together. I was also happy to see that LEGO made an effort to replicate the unique shock and steering mechanism with the bike - a demonstration that it's not just any bike, it's a GS.
My critique would be, given they had the space and a way to connect, is to develop and include an appropriate build for the main and pillion seat. I'm not sure if this was sacrificed for the price point, but it's barely a complaint for such a nice set that was a joy to build. "
