"Another awesome build in the Marvel Line for Lego. The tower may be kind of a side build for the set, but it is substantial and would serve well in a Lego city or other display. Giant-Man is done very well, made to be as much like an actual minifig as possible. Something I didn't expect but enjoyed very much was the labels for the suitcases and packages. 2 of the suitcases have "Wakanda" and "Sokovia" stickers respectively, and the 3 packages are labeled with either Stark Industries, Hammer Tech, or A.I.M. logos. The figure selection is very good, but could have done with, say, Vision to even out the numbers between the teams, as in this set, Cap, Bucky, Agent 13, Ant/Giant-Man, and Scarlet Witch outnumber Iron Man and War Machine. The one gripe I do have is that the Quinjet is a good bit smaller than it appears, and has very little minifigure room inside. It fits a function where a stud shooter flips down, but I personally am not into such interactive play functions, so I spent a good 2 hours today tearing the ship apart and widening the bay (was too narrow for figures), removing the function, and overall bettering (sorry, Lego) the design. I also replaced the stud shooter on War Machine's back with the same gun that Bucky has in this set, a claw element, and a single-stud back clip. This is slightly more movie-accurate for those of you out there who prefer cosmetic appeal over playability.
Pros: Terrific figure detailing, particularly Iron Man's torso and Bucky's arm satisfying Giant-Man build well-done airport tower Movie-referencing packages Cons: Small quinjet Whopping 27 stickers (not a big issue for me, but many don't appreciate this)"

"First off, I maybe should have changed the build time to accommodate an extra day. That is because the one sitting on my desk is the second one I bought, as the first one was completely missing bags 1 and 2. I went to Target with the receipt the following day and exchanged it without any other issues, so no harm done. The set itself is on the level of Poe's X-Wing, First Order TIE, and FO Snowspeeder. So, darn awesome. The set is affixed with some nice greebles (parts added for a machinery look), mainly the well-done thrusters and the vents on the side. The Stormtroopers and Phasma are superb, the Flametroopers are nicely done, and the Resistance troopers are average (would happily exchange both for 1 more Order fig such as a pilot or added Stormtrooper). One function I don't believe you see up on the product page is a nice little push/pull device on the back to raise and lower the loading ramp. I understand that this was a set released long before the movie, but it is much shorter than in the film, with the troop capacity at roughly 25% of the actual thing, while the pilot cabin is perfectly sized to the film's, creating some disproportion that really doesn't detract from the model's appearance. Another reviewer bought 2 and extended the length considerably, which is a great modification but not at all a necessary one. I don't really stand by the inclusion of so many spring launchers and what have you in any set, but I also get that many younger children will love that playability facet. For you realistic modellers, I fixed the top turret by leaving out the little levers for the stud shooters and replaced the studs with black lightsaber hilts, which helped the aesthetic very much, along with the removal of the spring missile launchers. I'll sum up with a list of pros and cons.
Pros- Quite accurate and detailed despite disproportion Great selection and design of Order troops Nice concealed seat system for turret operator Boarding ramp function is well done Engine mounting is terrific Nice variety of weapons (blaster rifles are hard to come by now)
Cons- Resistance troops are nameless and superfluous, could be replaced with Han, Chewie, Rey, Finn, or a pilot for transporter. Tad disproportionate for the accuracy stickler (but fixable) Turret is too high for gunner without modification My first one was incomplete, but this is a rare problem.
Overall great set. God bless if you sat through all that."
