Strong Character...Strong Build...
" I was happy when; after finding out that Hero Factory was ending, that the rich history of Bionicle would be coming back to the shop shelves. Memories flooded back of the original series, and whilst in Liverpool, I bought said Bionicle. And here's what I think
Tahu stands as a definitive character in Bionicle lore. And this build knows it. He is well articulated, complex enough to challenge children when building (and adults too, I might add). What makes me happiest of all is the technic pieces and the functions of it. It brought me all the way back to 2001 when the cogs used to move the arms of the figures up and down. This build really shows how much has improved over 15 years. Waist rotation, moving weapons, and a high level of mobility that would make any potential buyer, or child, proud.
I'd say snap up the series whilst you can. This is a good figure, and the mini build combo combines to make a glorious display piece or channel for imagination. This truly is...A BRICKSTERPIECE "

Takes me back in time...
" I'm sort of surprised that it has took this long for a real LEGO Doctor Who set to be made. But I suppose thats more to do with bureaucracy than anything else. The LEGO TARDIS Set is an excellent piece, especially for kids and adults. I would not recommend it for Kids though, and I will get into why now...
The pros
This set is highly detailed, and truly captures the spirit of Doctor Who. The figures have a great likeness of the chracters, and are very well rendered. What got me was 'How are they going to make Daleks or Cybermen? And the Daleks were made NOTHING like I expected. They look like Daleks, and they're very well designed. And while it confused me a little, I like having an 11th and 12 Doctor Figure.
The Cons
There were some problems with the set. Its not meant for play, and can be a tad fragile. Mine missed bricks, so improvisation was required; with a very limited supply of spare bricks. I felt the dalek design was a bit too tall, and the missing bricks made them mismatched. Missing bricks has been a recurring problem for me with Ideas sets. But I think (and hope) that these are all isolated cases for me. And also, the doctor's costume on the 12th doctor should have been his Series 8 attire, rather than his regeneration one. That let me down. So much, I am considering buying the LEGO Dimensions pack to get a more accurate Doctor.
Conclusion: Nitpicking notwithstanding, I love it. I love it, love it, love it, love it, love it. Its very well designed, and captures the spirit of the series. In closing, I would recommend it to you. "

A finely built city
" I purchased this model for myself, after having not built a good LEGO model since Christmas. I must say, building it brought me back to when I first went to Berlin in 2012. The miniaturised landmarks of Berlin were very well recreated in this fine diorama; perfect for the desk or for a display cabinet. The attention to detail was very nice, with the pieces representing the Berlin Wall dotted sparingly throughout the set.
The only problem I had was rating this model. Its not really a play experience, so I rated it average. That does not accurately represent my views on this. I would highly recommend it. I'd also recommend the TV Tower get its own set down the line. "
