"After seeing the reviews here and one on youtube, I thought I'd pop in to let everyone know that it can fly. My first attempts were much like described in the other reviews, plummeting to the ground after a couple of feet. Before I put it up, however, I decided to give it one last effort pulling the pull cord as hard as I possibly could. The result was it flying through my dining room and all the way across my living room (about 25 feet) without losing any altitude. Several more runs all produced the same results. I'm not sure how far I can get it to go, but I'd imagine 30 to 35 feet at the least. I will say that my upper body strength is laughable, but I am an adult and don't think that most kids would be able to do this."

Unexpectedly Amazing!
"I recently discovered the ninjago line dragons and purchased three sets. I got master wu's dragon, jay's dragon and this one. While the other two are amazing, green nrg is my favorite. I've been addicted to legos ever since I was introduced to them when I was 9. Didn't really have a dark ages, but as I've gotten older "lego play" has gradually tapered off to be replaced with "lego display". That being said, I just can't help myself when it comes to this set. The dragon has so much character that I find myself playing with it quite often.
I've seen more detailed lego sets. I own more detailed lego sets, but none of them have captured the essence of the thing as well as green nrg dragon. The designers at lego have utilized the new joint pieces to bring stability, balance, and fluidity to this magnificent mythical creature. The head, neck, feet, wings, and tail all have multiple points of articulation. If you want to display it, it may actually be harder not getting a great pose. The wings are ingenious. It's a skeletal framework covered with cloth wings. No matter how you move, fold, or bend the wings, they look natural.
I would love to see this model setup as a guide for building creatures. It would be exciting to see other beasts of folklore come alive in lego form the way this set has. (basilisk, genie, cyclops, gargoyle, Ogre, Griffon, Naga, Titan, Golem, etc)
If you like dragons, this set will not disappoint.
I've included some photos of green nrg in his natural habitat. Of course we all know that the chocolate chips are for making cookies, but honestly who can resist?"
