"Sorry, but I’m not a fan of this set at all. High price point for UK fans (£75!) and the piece count is mostly made up of small pieces. The build wasn’t anything special and the finished article lacks any ‘wow’ factor at all. The bus seems unnecessary and simply a way to increase the piece count. Not in any way up to the standard of the previous winter village sets. Sorry to be so negative, but I’m so disappointed."
"This has to be my favourite build to date! It caught my eye as something a bit different to add to my collection and I haven't been disappointed. The finished result is a beautiful display piece that will take pride of place in my collection. The details are exquisite and an absolute joy to build and look at. I'd say it took me 8 hours in total - I'm never in a rush and like to take my time and enjoy it. Instructions are simple and there aren't any complex bits - it's very enjoyable from start to finish. Absolutely fantastic value for money with 7 mini figures. Whether this is for play or display, this really should be part of your collection. Delighted with mine!"
"This was my first modular build (first of now many!) and I was definitely spoiled by starting with this one. The attention to detail is absolutely stunning. The interior is so detailed, I haven't found any other modular comes close on this one. I found it average to challenging at times and I took my time over it. Completed over a series of weekends, a few hours at a time. My favourite parts are the kitchen and loft art studio. The roof was tricky and took several attempts - perhaps I'm too heavy handed and I kept collapsing it! It makes a very lovely end piece to my now rapidly expanding street."
"I recently (2 years ago) got back into Lego after what I now understand to have been my 'dark' spell away! I've completed a few builds now, but this was my biggest and definitely the most satisfying. I cashed in my VIP points so that took the sting out of the cost, but it's worth every penny of the RRP. I found it took me around an hour per section (there are 14) until the final few. Total build time around 11 hours over 2 weekends. I'm never in a rush to finish, and I didn't want this one to end! The build experience is amazing, but the finished castle is just stunning. The attention to detail and references to Disney movies are superb. My two year old niece (who has sat patiently on my lap whilst I build since she was 6 months old) is beyond excited about this one! It's definitely something I can see myself handing down to her in a couple of years. If you're contemplating adding this to your collection - do it!"
