"Jedi Scum!"
" The moment I saw this in the shop, I had to have it- I'm so glad I did. This is a really nice little set.
The minifigures are both excellent. Mace Windu and his purple lightsaber haven't been seen in a while, and his minifigure is lovely. But General Grievous is out of this world (pun intended). The figure is minifigure-scaled and made up of lots of beautiful little pieces. His figure is very detailed, from his tiny yellow eyes to the dash of white on the minifigure arms. His weird clawed feet have stud holes so they can be attached to bricks, and his four arms move well and are fun to pose. His four lightsabers can be neatly hidden away under the ship, which is excellent- the last ship I brought with a lightsaber-wielding figure had nowhere to put it.
The ship itself is an easy little build, very tactile and well-thought out. As always, the flick missiles will delight and impress little ones (though they are probably best kept out of the hands of vindictive siblings), and the build is so easy they can probably do it themselves (with the exception of a trickier bit in the middle).
The only thing that annoyed me about the build were the stickers, which are nearly always irritating, although these ones are quite easy to put on, and there's only four of them.
As for the price, I thought it was worth it in the shop for Grievous and Windu- the ship was a nice little bonus. However, if you're buying for little ones I suggest you wait until they get reduced in shops in a couple of months.
Overall, I was very happy with this set and it was a very pleasant surprise. "

Taserface? (snicker)
" This is a pretty fantastic little set.
It's fantastic value just for the minifigures alone- three figures in a £20 set? They're all exquisitely designed and printed: Rocket's back with a smile and a massive gun, Taserface with a super detailed uniform and fantastic hair (not to mention the even bigger gun) and the Mantis figure is plain beautiful.
The little ravager ship is nice, with lots of little stud shooter guns.
One of the best bits is the large machine-gun like stud shooter that fires six studs at once. It's not given much glory on the box but it's a brilliant little thing that is guaranteed to enthral kids and adults alike (you may want to keep it away from warring siblings if you don't want eyes poked out)
Overall, it's a fantastic little set. A must buy!

A Fantastic Idea
" This set is great, especially if you have loads of empty LEGO buildings you want to fill. It looks particularly good if you get a green baseplate to go with it. Every figure has their own unique feel and personality, the guy in the wheelchair is fab and overall it's just a fantastic little set, giving you loads of figures with minimal building time.
It encourages creativity, as there are little or no instruction-built accessories and it's so versatile. A brilliant add to any LEGO collection.

I must cut through it from the inside!- Drax
" I read all the reviews before buying this set, and they scared me a little. Honestly, this is a fantastic little set (then again, I didn't have any of the original guardians sets).
The Milano is fantastic. It looks pretty, it's a manageable size and children especially will adore it. It's got loads of cool moving wing flaps and little guns that shoot studs (be careful with these around young children). The cockpit has room for every figure in the set, so if you take Nebula out you'll have room for one more guardian. My personal favourite detail is the little cassete player in the cockpit.
The figures (which is the reason I bought the set) do not disappoint (again, this from a person who has never had a Guardians set before). The printing and detail are really nice, especially on all their little weapons. Baby Groot and Nebula in particular are great looking figures. Yes, Peter and Gamora do have the same torso and leg pieces, but personally I think it's cute that they both wear the same outfit.
The Abilisk doesn't look that cool in the picture, but trust me, it really is and one of the main plus points of this set. It moves brillantly and has loads of different poses, opening up play options.
There are a few cons with this set: There are a lot of fiddly stickers (if you're buying this for a kid make sure you do those bits) and lots of small accessories with no place to store them. As long as you get a little tub to put those bits in, you should be fine.
Overall, this is a set with endless play value (especially since you get 4 out of the 5 main Guardians in one set) and that looks quite pretty on display, too. If you're dithering, definitely get it. "

"I love you!" "I know."
" Well, I've spent months begging LEGO to make more affordable Old Trilogy sets and they DO NOT disappoint.
This set is beautiful to look at, easy to build and fun to play with. It has a lovely mechanism for switching between Carbonite Han and Normal Han.
Although I've never cared for Boba Fett as a character, his minifigure is absolutely beautiful to look at: brilliant detail, lovely colours and excellent printing.
The Ugnaught is a nice figure as well, with good printing.
Han is as good as usual.
Only negative is the lack of a Leia (she is the whole point of the scene!), a Chewy or a Darth Vader, but you can easily att these figures from other sets.
Overall, whether you're a kid who loves Star Wars or a die-hard collector, buy this set! It's super affordable, fun to play with and great for display. "

Must Have for any fan of Doctor Who
" The set really is spectacular. It's cleverly built, beautiful to look at and fun to play with.
Building it was fairly easy, although it was not helped by all the bits being in totally different bags for any given part of the instructions. Apart from one sticky bit with the console where the central column broke off, everything was built smoothly and easily.
Play value is excellent, with the Doctor and his sonic screwdriver ready to go.
The way the TARDIS box attached the console room was brilliant and the TARDIS easily converts from box to room. Although, the exterior doors of the box TARDIS do not actually open.
All in all, this is a fun, great set which any fan of Doctor Who would love to have. My only complaint is that they do not do more Doctor Who sets! "
