DC is Awesome
" When I had seen the preliminary images for this set, I was crazy for its official release date. When the set arrived, I opened it, started building, and as each placing of the pieces on the set began, the excitement was at a great extant.
the minifigures:
Green Arrow; he is quite cool. He doesn't come with an actual green-hood, yet simply a folded hood that is down by his back. The actual arrow piece is nice to top him off.
Cyborg; this guy has got to be the heart of all the excitement. his hair/helmet piece is excellent, with the colour and printing additionally perfect for his long awaited minifigure.
Hawkman; I didn't know to much about Hawkman, therefore I didn't know what to expect. Yet I actually really like him now; his wings are a cool new piece to the Lego universe. While his legs and torso printing, as well as the helmet are new!
Darkseid; the bad guy is of course a big fig! his printing is awesome! While the colours make him so menacing!
Structures;
Darkseid's hover craft is neat. The colours match the character. When you shoot missiles at him while he's on the craft, he can be flung off- so that's cool. While he himself as well has some weaponry which consists of a ball shooter.
The Javelin;
The Justice League's ship is so awesome! DC doesn't get enough credit, but the ship's design totally through all that DC doubt down the drain. The wings are awesome as they fold up to land, and when in flight mode make the ship look sleek. While the cockpit can preferably three people, but a couple more if you can squeeze them in. Conclusively the ship naturally has some weapons, a couple of little side functions, as well as one of the most sleek ship design's LEGO has to offer, at the moment.
This is a great set!!

Green Lantern has Arrived
" When I heard that LEGO would be making a set which includes Green Lantern, I was so excited!
When the set finally arrived to me, I built it so gleefully! To start off, the minifigures are excellent. When the first green lantern fig came out, (San Diego Comicon) I was so bummed he wasn't available to the general public, but when I built mine, I just sat there staring at the green lantern minifigure that I had finally gotten.
The Sinestro minifig is also quite pleasing. His colours are interesting, as well as his yellow weapon is quite unique and fitting to his LEGO persona. While lastly the Space-Batman; he is quite cool as well. I was somewhat iffy on his space wings due them being out of thin plastic. Yet they got my approval so it was all good. Yet the overall Batman minifigure is nice because of his space suit printing, so its a nice/new print for Batman.
Then onto the set...
Sinestro's cage is quite cool. It holds Green lantern's power source, or a figure alone. And when the disc is shot with an object the cage releases whatever is inside!
Then the biggest part is Green Lantern's jet: the jet doesn't have an underbelly, more or less rounded hull, so its somewhat half a jet. yet the top is cool due to the illuminating colour schemes of different shades of clear and solid green. There are some flick missiles as a nice touch, so the design is quite greeting to DC fans. Yet the only con is no underbelly/hull.
overall this is an excellent set. It is an easy build. New pieces, and colours, as well as some extremely new exciting figures to add to the superheroes collection! 10/10 "

Metal Beard's Ship
" This set had been something I had been wishing to get for a long time. Furthermore I got it for my birthday. The building experience was challenging at times, yet it also really added to my knowledge of being an advance lego builder; do to the placement of unique pieces, as well as the overall structure.
The ship itself is quite large, with that I quite like how the sails are made of some technic hub-cap pieces. One of the cons about the ship is that the deck of the ship is quite limited. They therefore could've made the deck a bit bigger to give it a proper ship feel. Another thing though, that I enjoy about the ship is that its hull is quite spacious, as well as some of the upper deck rooms are piled up on each other to make this lopsided-ship feel which is quite cool.
the minifigure assortment is good, all the necessary characters needed are included. As well as some micro-managers who are unique to the set.
Overall the lego-group did a good job with this one. And if you have the cash to get it, as well as fi you like collecting pirate ships, I would definitely get it.

Turtle Lair of Awesome
" When I first saw the preliminary pictures for this set, I was so excited! Yet when I actually purchased it, and then it arriving to me, that was the peak of my excitement. The overall minifigures are beyond my imagination. I absolutely love how in this set you can actually attach weaponry onto Leo and Donny's shells! Shredder; nothing really new about him except the shoulder piece, but he's still cool enough. While his Foot soldiers are cool enough, but as well standard minifigures, and the same goes for Splinter, but he has a new colour scheme to him.
the accessories are quite nice, and very complementing. Thence now I will get onto the set!
Its definitely what I was expecting and more!!!! the contraptions are the best, and very playful, they complement the theme very nicely!
Overall I would definitely recommend getting it! its worth the money, and the endless play experience is just as much worth it!!!

pretty good purchase
" this set is amazing adding on to that LEGO has just recentely released lotr and the-hobbit, the minifigures are very well desighned, the outside is perfectely fernished, and the overall structure of the hobbit hole is nicely built. the set is very compatible with other sets. and i say that because i bought two of these sets, i built the first one, i then built the second one, made it a-bit smaller (and it still looked nicely) and put it on top, it looked like the hobbiton in a way, i was very excited that i could have a hobbit hole for Frodo and Sam.
please let me know if this was a good review by giving me a thumbs up or thumbs down. "
