This set is all about your own creativity!
" I was not really into Brickheadz so far. But this set I simply had to buy. This is not so much a set but a tool box for building whatever Brickhead you want, actually two of them at once.
The instructions are very unique. One gets to know the design of a Brickhead and numerous example builds, explained step by step. Once you have figured out the basic concept you can easily build your very own creation or modify and mix whatever you find in the instructions. The possibilities are almost endless.
The value you get is just amazing. More than 700 parts make this set also a great parts pack and I can imagine that some will buy 2 or 3 of these for building their whole family. "

One of the best LEGO ships ever made
" I am one of the happy customers who did not buy the Destiny's Bounty for the Ninjago theme but for its absolutely stunning looks inside and out. This set is brimful of detail. The non-European style makes it also something special among Lego ship sets.
Like in a real ship, there is plenty of interior space below deck. Together with the other two levels this offers surprisingly extensive interior space and all of it is full of accessories, furniture etc. Among the many things, the functional bed is one of my favourites. Also the toilet build, a utility often missing in Lego sets, is pretty neat. The most impressive exterior detail are in my opinion the two dragon heads which are entirely brick built with very creative use of pieces.
The only aspect I did not like was that the sails are fixed longside ship. That simply makes no sense for a ship with sails. However, it is very easy to change the connection so that the masts can be rotated freely. To do so, one has to merely replace the 2L/4L axles connecting the masts with the ship hull with 3L/4L bar elements. I had 2 left over 3L bars included in my set and one can borrow the 4L "laser" bar from the ultimate weapon as well. Therefore I did not need any additional elements not included in this set for this modification.
With the last point easily modified there really isn't anything negative I could say about this set. It is a real beauty, a fun build, by far and large very sturdy and pretty sizable too. "

A very special LEGO set
" It is rare that LEGO produces a set which is neither for minifig based play nor for display. This is a set for actual play as good old real world arcarde game. If you know the old school wooden mazes, you get the idea what you'll get in this set in a legofied version.
The size of the maze is smaller compared to the wooden original (or rather, the elements inside are slightly bigger) but it makes more than up for this with its modifyability, after all it is LEGO. There are two maze designs included in the official manual, but there are many more mazes possible with the parts included and some creativity. It is also very easy to modify mazes to make them harder, without changing them completely, if one has mastered the current maze. The official manual gives some more great ideas for other mazes on its last page but you'll find more inspiration online if you are looking for it. And if you have a crate with Lego at your disposal, you can built even very elaborate themed Lego mazes. Your imagination is your limit.
The controls do their job well, the build is sturdy and playing the maze is real fun. There are two minor non-ideal things though that have been mentioned by several other reviewers before:
-The balls have two little flat pole areas
-The tilting mechanism is on one axis on one side a bit limited
I did not really mind the issue with the balls, as long as you keep it moving there is no issue anyway. If anything I think it is part of the challenge as it motivates you to keep the ball moving. The titlting mechanism shortcoming did bother me however. Luckily "JK Brickworks", the original fan-designer of this Ideas set explains a very simple modification to the maze, which needs no extra parts and resolves this issue completely. I would highly recommend trying out his modification.
My final conclusion: Great "play-set" (literally), also for grown ups. "
