"This set was a very good value for me, especially considering that it comes with Filch. The tree is fun and poseable, the car is great and can be made to fly in a lore friendly way, and the castle comes with a lot of very useful pieces.
I recorded a speed build of this set on my Youtube channel, Brick Building Fun. Come check it out!"
"How can a huge Lego set not be awesome? It can't. The Knighton Castle fills an important gap in the lives of the Nexo Knights. We've seen many vehicles, but we haven't seen where they actually live. With this set, you get beds, a dining table, lookout posts, and more.
It's a little strange that the rooms of the castle are accessed from the back with no way to get to them from the front, but I guess you can use your imagination. It's made up for by the fact that it opens up. The castle is also nicely solid. Once you take off the escape ship, it can be picked up and moved without falling apart.
It was a satisfying build, taking two sessions of a few hours each. I have a video of it up on my Youtube channel, Brick Building Fun, along with many others."
"Overview: The combination of air and land vehicles, the spinning drills, and the unique battle suit addition make Axl’s Rumble Maker one of my favorite Nexo Knights sets.
Cool features: -A major selling point for this set, for me, was the tread wheels in the back. They might be a challenge for someone with small hands or bad eyes to put together, though. -It’s cool how the seating section has two sets of controls, one for the land vehicle and one for the plane. The transformation is a bit like the transformation feature in Clay’s Rumble Blade, just a bit simpler due to fewer moving parts. -The coolest feature is the spinning blades. Turning the front wheels causes the two parts of each blade to spin in opposite directions, creating a very impressive effect.
Build experience: It wasn’t a difficult build at all. I made one mistake while putting together the section with the treads, but it didn’t end up making any real difference, so I didn’t bother to go back and fix it. You can watch the build starting September 22nd on my Youtube channel, Brick Building Fun. I have tons of other build videos there as well."
"As soon as I found out that this set existed, I had to have it. I'm not a Beatles fan, but I respect them a lot for what they've accomplished, and I knew that a set of Beatles minifigures would be worth 100x their weight in gold.
Let's get the negatives out of the way. I highly doubt four people could live in a submarine this small, and there's no way they could get all of their friends aboard. This is a minor nitpick based on the song, so it really doesn't make a difference to the set.
Everything else about it is great. The colors are fun and bright, the figures are nicely printed and detailed, and I really like how it's made to be displayed."
