Quick little set
" Not much to say about this set, but its a nice quick little build. I don't think $30 is a bad price point but there's not a whole lot going on with it. The microfig of holographic Leia may become collectible in the future (not sure if it's been done before, I'm new to Lego as an adult). Its easy to display with the folding pieces and I have it posed in the iconic scene of R2D2 displaying the message to Obi Wan. 7+ age rating seems very appropriate. "

Displays well for a play set
" I'm an adult that recently got back into Lego models. This is obviously meant to be a play piece in a lot of ways but I posed Luke and Vader with sabers clashing with Palpatine sat in his throne like the initial scene of the duel in RotJ and it looks great on my shelf.
It is very easy and quick to put together which makes sense for a product aimed more at kids than adult builders. From an adult perspective the money you spend on this set is likely better used towards more display piece oriented sets however it does have several ways that you can display the minifigs (such as Palpatine using Force Lightning on Luke). I still 100% give this five bricks because I'm sure the age rating is totally appropriate and I had a relaxing time building a less complicated set. "

Great set, frustrating instructions
" Definitely don't get me wrong. The set looks amazing when put together. However the instructions were difficult to get through. The clay red and dark brown (sorry don't know the official Lego colour names) pieces look nearly identical on the instruction book. There was also a small error where it said to build the branches 3 times wherein it was actually supposed to be built 6 times. But a reasonable adult should be able to figure that out. My suggestion for similar colour bricks in the manuals: assign them a colour. Put an instruction that says clay red = yellow and dark brown = blue so that it would be far easier to differentiate between the two in the manual. I have minor eyesight problems and I had to squint many times to work out what the instructions were saying. As I said though; it looks amazing when it's all put together. "
