My daughter's first Lego set
" When my parents came to visit from their farm, they gave our one and a half year old daughter this set as a present (her very first Duplo set ever), and she loves it. We make the animal noises together, we put them to 'bed' in the doors and windows, we pretend the animals eat from the trough, and we stack the blocks and build towers. We also milk the cow, shear the sheep and collect the eggs from the chicken - I don't think she really understands just yet but there's real educational value in there. We always make the little people pat the animals gently, to teach her about respecting animals too. I really loved playing with Lego as a kid and seeing my daughter use her imagination and have fun with this toy has rekindled that love.
