"A nice set for every Technic fan, the Mining Truck is a good investment. The price is easy for most people to achieve, and the parts assortment is excellent. A simple gear selection, 4 jet black tires, panels, and a one piston engine. The piston is connected to the drive train via chain linkage. It has front wheel steering, which is controlled by a small gear on the top. It introduces a unique dumping function, that hasn't been utilized before. The only bad thing about it is that you can't steer and dump objects at the same time, because your hand obstructs the path of the dump bed. If you have money on you, buy the Mining Truck!"
"This motor can be a perfect addition to your Power Functions collection. With a length of 7, width of 3, and an average height of 3.5 (the front is 3, the back is 4) modules, this motor can be implanted into your technic designs very easily. Do you need a motor that is both fast and powerful? Look no further, as this motor is equipped with both! The Large Motor has a speed of 380 rotations per minute, and an outstanding torque of 450 MA. If you wish to use this motor for an RC vehicle, you should consider buying two, as they will propel your vehicle extremely well."
"A must-have motor for your Power Functions collection! With a speed of 220 rotations per minute, it is one of the slowest of the Power Functions motors, but is also one of the strongest! With it comes a torque of 600 MA, which means it is basically unstoppable! If you plan on building a monstrous RC vehicle, then buy the XL motor, which is capable of tugging very large vehicles! And if that's not enough, two XL motors can propel vehicles of MASSIVE proportions! The dimensions of this motor are 5 (height) by 5 (width) by 6 (length) modules. Technic is based off of ODD numbers, not even, so this motor should be easy to fit into your Technic constructions. Take care of this motor, as just with any motor, dropping it will result in critical damage to the speed."
"This is a nice, cheap set to have. The model is very durable for $13, and it actually has engine details. There is one single headlight, but it is of a bigger variety than the small 1x1 rounded studs. There are two different tires and rim types on the motorcycle. We have the popular 30 by 20 rim, and the 1/2 version of it. Do not misplace the two extra red 2-module technic axles, as they are needed for one of the other models it can become. There are plenty of lime-green pieces, including two fenders over the larger wheel. The functions of this set: steering, adjustable turning lights, adjustable headlight, and adjustable handlebars. Kick the kickstand, and speed down the highway with the Lego Creator Highway Cruiser!"
"A nice set for those who build models for looks. If you're looking for a good pieces donor, this set may not be the best option. However, there are quite a few gears, 2 large technic panels, 2 medium-large technic panels, 6 pistons, and 4 tires, two of the new kind, and 2 of the medium thickness tires. All four tires share the same rims, which are the ever-so-popular 30 by 20 ones. The doors do not open, but the seats are adjustable. There are three functions, which are moving pistons (only move if the right tire is), steering (works just like a real hot rod), and a roof that can be opened up."
"Not only is this remote control good for trains, but it is also useful for RC cars, as well. This remote makes the steering more realistic, and it feels comfortable to hold. It's time to push the pedal to the metal with the the RC Speed Remote Control! Let us all hope that LEGO continues with Power Functions."
"I received this set on 7/21/14, and it is my first Technic set. I have high hopes of making this vehicle remote control. I haven't had any problems with the steering wheel so far, and the suspension is excellent. I hope that Lego will make more Technic sets similar to this one."
"A very useful set for beginners. Goes very well with other Lego Power Functions pieces such as the IR Receiver + Speed Remote Control, XL-Motor. I hope to someday use it with the Servo Motor."
