"Common, really? On an item that is is a blind purchase you are limiting the purchase to 5? There are 20 possible and more often than not you are going to get doubles. Way to make kids happy when they only get 5 to open and end up with 2 or three because they get a couple of duplicates. This in my opinion makes this a poor product to purchase and a very poor showing by Lego as a company. I'm sure that if I went to Toy's R Us or found them at Target or some other store they wouldn't limit the purchase so why limit them on the online store?"
"I was excited when this set was announced but was expecting it to be more of a single structure than a lot of loose sections that can be slid up next to each other. the mansion room is well done but it's one room and the polls that are supposed to be behind the book case are not connected to the lower poles. It comes with a good selection of villains and I do like the classic cat woman but there really isn't any place to place them within the set. The bat-mobile really looks good, almost wish that had been sold separately like was done with the Ghostbusters Ecto-1. All in all for the amount asked you really are not getting much. I also got the Ghostbuster fire station and that one is well worth the money. I'ts a full building all around and opens up to view the inside. I really wish something similar was done for the batcave/Wayne manor. For me this set is way over priced, it really should have been around 100 - 150 range."
"Really disappointed with this purchase, for the cost I would have expected it to at least come with a power cord. Granted looking back at the description it does say it required the charging cable sold separately but really it seems a bit ridiculous to sell the battery pack without the charger. So in reality the chargeable DC battery pack costs more than what is listed. So now I'll need to order the charging cable and wait for it to arrive before I can use the battery pack. I expect better from Lego."
"At first glance I was unsure about this ship because it almost look like someone was just trying to get rid of a lot of extra pieces lying around. But as I started to build the ship I quickly realized that the pictures didn't do it justice and it is now one of my favorite ships.
Although it's not as long as some of the other ships, it makes up for it in height. It uses a lot of smaller pieces to give it some of it's detail and only minimal use of stickers which is a definite plus/
The only negative thing I found so far is that it doesn't seem to sit completely flat and can rock a bit but of course that could just be mine.
All in all I would definitely recommend this build!"
"First let me say that I did enjoy building this set but unfortunately I need to agree with a lot of other people that all the stickers kind of took away from some of the fun. The outside of the box showed it as being Lego Expert but I'd have to disagree with that and say that because of the stickers it would bring it up to maybe advanced but not expert. Also because the front of the ship had three large layered pieces (granted most ships have one or two large pieces) doesn't seem like an expert set. To me an expert set would be to find the individual smaller pieces to form the front of the ship. My opinion is the Black Perl ship set was more advanced than this one. Again, I did enjoy it, just not as much as i expected too."
