Pretty Good Build
" This is a nice set. The price is reasonable for what you get; while 90 dollars is a bit over the 10 cents per element benchmark, the set contains many large pieces. Though true, the build still feels authentic. Overall, this is a great set, and I would recommend it. However, if you want to get an imperial shuttle, go for the Imperial Shuttle Tyderium. This one is a bit better for what you're paying for, in my opinion. Below is a more detailed breakdown.
PROS:
1. The spring-loaded shooters are well integrated; there are no trans-red "tails" sticking out the back.
2. The gaps between the outside plates are neither particularly large nor particularly noticeable, except around the cockpit.
3. The build is quite sturdy
4. The wings, side panels, and ramp are attached well; there is enough friction to keep them in place, but they can be positioned easily. I also appreciate how the wings are attached with ball joints, instead of ratcheting joints
5. The exterior is very sleek looking, for the most part
6. The back is even nice looking
7. The interior is easily accessible
8. The minifigs are very well executed, especially the death troopers. These guys are amazing!
CONS:
1. The ramp does not open far enough; there is not enough space to stand a minifig under the ship with the skids deployed
2. The undersides of the wings are not that pretty, which is not good in my book, because the wing bottoms are clearly visible when the ship is in landing mode. It would have been better if all the larger plates in the wings were black.
3. The underside of the build is positively hideous; there are brightly colored technic pins everywhere, which is not acceptable in my book; why can't The Lego group use light grey and black pins?
4. The interior also has some bright technic pins and weapon clips that could be recolored. Also, the interior could benefit from a few tiles.
5. There are some gaps where the bottom of the cockpit meets the other sides of the ship. A few plates would eliminate this.
6. It might have been nice to get Jyn Erso's dad (young or old), to recreate the scene where Krennic takes him away or the scuffle on the landing platform.

Lego made a WHAT!
" Overall, this is a great set. It is so inexpensive, so I would highly recommend buying more than one copy. There were a few ways in which it could be improved though. It could have used another minifig; perhaps a generic rebel trooper and maybe a small section of wall to use as cover. Below are more of my comments:
Pros:
1. The price is great, far better than 10 cents per piece, which is a good benchmark by my standards.
2. The exterior is very detailed, and it is very accurate.
3. The wheels underneath add excellent play value.
4. The interior of the tank is very accessible (The front and top plates are hinged).
Cons:
1. The set only comes with one crate; the tanks in Rouge One had two. Also, this crate contains a blaster and electrobinoculars. The crates in the movie contained crystals.
2. The interior is not very detailed; I would have liked to have seen some tiles on the inside and controls that are more complicated than a set of two buttons.
3. The sponsons only elevate, they do not swivel horizontally.
4. The gun on the front is stationary.
5. The hatch on top of the tank does not open, so a pilot to poke his head out (sure, the top is hinged, but it does not look as cool) .

Good Functions and Minifigs, but Lacking in Design
" Aesthetics and Accuracy: 3 out of 5
-The elevated decking with the computer on it looks great; the lights and vents give it a very industrial feel. It's quite accurate to the movie.
- The little black rim around the elevator does not really match with the rest of the decking, and the mismatching plates under the clear orange bricks that are perpendicular to the stairs to not look good together.
-The stairs and the black rods on one of the side walls are a welcome addition, they give the set some nice dimension. The platform at the bottom of the stairs is a little on the small side though.
-The set looks very unfinished from the back, there is no decking back there and a few blue and red bricks that do not fit well with the color palette of the set are exposed.
-The wall on the side of the decking with the black knob is built out of far too many brick colors. By my count, the lego designers used five on a single wall. That's a little excessive, don't you think?.
-I would have liked to see a hose or two on the decking. That would have added to the visual appeal and to the accuracy of the set.
Stability: 4 out of 5
-Stability is good, the set won't break unless dropped from several feet
Functions: 4 out of 5
-The function that lowers and flips the carbonite block is awesome! Very ambitious and unique on the part of the Lego designers. I wish the function lowered the carbonite block a little further, though.
-The elevator is neat. It's nice how you can lock it in place once it reaches the deck.
-The little lever under the decking where you can "imprison" Han Solo is inaccurate; there was no little prison cell under the decking in the movie! Besides, lever functions like this are incredibly common in Lego sets. I don't even think this function is necessary; two good functions are enough for a set.
Minifigs: 3.5 out of 5
-The printing on the minifigs included in the set are very detailed, and the new Ugnaught adds a lot of value to the set. I especially liked Boba Fett, the stripe on the pauldron added some nice detail. The jetpack is nice too, it even has the missile built into it.
-The the ugnaught and Boba Fett, make this set a good buy for collectors, as these 'figs are rare.
-I would have liked to have seen another minifig in this set; maybe a stormtrooper or Besbin guard to help Boba carry the carbonate block. Leia, Lando Calrissian, or Lobot would have been fitting as well, they would add more to the play experience and enable kids to play through more Besbin scenes.
Value for Money: 4 out of 5
-The original functions add a lot of value to the set, as do the rare minifigures. The decking and the computer were great, but the "wall of many colors" and the unfinished back were real cons. "
