NEXO Knights!
" Hi, I'm doing this on my parents account as I'm too young. I got this set for my birthday in April, so here goes my first NEXO Knights review...
This was my first Nexo Knights set, and I will DEFINITELY be asking for more for Christmas! The set didn't take too long to build and is really good. You can have the entire Rumble Blade, which actually 'rumbles' on a hard surface, Clay's sword speeder and the Claybots sword breaker bikes. You just unclip Clay's ship from the main part of the build, but the sword breaker bikes are really cool. You just push a lever in the back of the build and they pop off the side! Once the speeder and bikes are off the middle it makes a kind of battle platform with spring loaded missiles. You have to fire them from the back really, otherwise you can't really shoot low. It will still drive along as a kind of platform tank thing so it's cool.
There were quite a few stickers with the build, the largest being on the guards on top of the wheels at the back (with Eagles on), and the smallest being a targeting system or something on the sword breaker bikes. The sword speeder has stickers on the wings, but also has a very cool windscreen that I believe is unique to this set, but I may be wrong. It is made to look like Clay's sword, which looks very cool.
The build is very sturdy. It's a great set for this. I have a one and a half year old cousin with hyper mobility so he can't walk and plays on the floor, and even though he's gentle he's still little so I expected the set to break when he played with it. Actually it was fine, he just needs help getting all the vehicles on and off! Really great build.
Now for the minifigures:
Clay Moorington- He has excellent printing. Cool helmet and armour too. His sword is a bit big but it is in the TV series too. His shield is well designed and comes with three NEXO powers you can scan. He has a double sided face: angry and smiling. No cons to this minifig!
Claybots- Nice build with Clay's symbol on their chest. Their hands are big enough to hold swords which is good. They have a double sided face, one robotic and serious, one robotic and grinning with a tooth missing. For battle I prefer the serious face, when they're not fighting I give them happy faces! Their helmets are really well done, with astronaut helmets (like Benny's from the LEGO movie) with the guards attached on to them. Really clever and cool minifig.
Ash Attacker- The coolest villain in the set. He has monster like printing with sharp shoulder pads and a stone looking helmet with orange horns. He has a chainsaw type weapon and has a double sided head: one serious and once mad! Awesome minifig.
Scurrier- This tiny red guy is, to be honest, wierd! He's all printed with an evil grin and you attach his horns and tail. A bit simple, but fun with a big sword!
Now pros and cons for those who dislike reading lots:
Pros:
Sturdy build
Nice detail
Good printing on minifigs
Awesome weapons
Nice vehicles on the rumble blade
Just looks epic
Cons:
A lot of stickers
The villains are outnumbered by MILES!
This set is really good, and it's really cheap for the price I think. It has the best playability in any set I have I think, and it's really worth every penny! Buy it! "

So Awesome!
" If you've read any of my Star Wars reviews you'll know I'm a younger LEGO fan that does reviews on my parents account, so here goes a review of a bigger set I've made.
I got this for Christmas last year. I built it with my 6 year old sister (then 5), but I did almost all of the building. It was average for difficulty. Not too hard, but not mind boringly easy either. It is at minifigure scale, which is really good, because you can add your own minifigs to give them a plane! The seats inside are quite detailed and there's some cool printed tiles to represent buttons and screens etc.
The wings are cool and have a curved look which was really well executed using SNOT bricks (Studs Not On Top) and the red/white/blue colour scheme is really good. There are wing flaps at the back of the plane and on the wings that are a nice touch. The wings going up are well done. You can look at the engine by folding up the near back of the plane which looks cool but you have to remember to fold them the right way or they won't shut. The wings also come off a bit too easily for a £50 set, resulting in having to take apart part of the plane to fix them back on. The long blue curved bit covering the yellow/bluneoart where the planes main body and the wings connect also come off way too easily.
The wheels are good and support the models weight well, and fold into the plane nicely. The shape is good and it makes it look like an actual plane.
I know that some people have complained that the jet bit at the back is too big, but I think it looks good personally. Bear in mind that comes from a year 8 who knows nothing about planes really!
I think I've covered most of the main aspects of the build, so I'll just do pros and cons for those people who dislike reading long reviews.
Pros:
Minifigure scale
Great wheels
Nice wing functionality
Build wasn't too complex
You can see the engine
Nice details
ABSOLOUTLY NO STICKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cons:
Wings and parts hiding wing/body joints come off to easily
A bit expensive
No minifigures
I think you'd have to get this on a reduction to make it REALLY worth your while, and if you want pilots you need spare minifigs, but overall it's a great set! "

Perhaps you should consider using a clone army...
" I'm reviewing from my parents account as I'm too young, so here goes another review...
This set is small, and I think the price is quite high for something this small. £12 for a cannon and four minifigs?! It's kinda pricey, don't you think? If I were LEGO I'd have this set £7.99 or £8.99.
Anyway, I'll stop moaning about the price and get on with the set. The cannon itself is good, and a control panel and ammo storage fold down from the sides, which is a nice touch. The top swivels and it's one of those push blasters that you can lever up and down. It's a cool little compact cannon, but I think it could have been taller to look a little more realistic, as it's not much taller than the minifigures. It's very sturdy, and I gave it to my 1 and 1/2 year old cousin to play with and it didn't break, so it's definitely a good build.
Onto the minifigs. The First Order crew member is okay, with a nice hat but a plain body, and he shares the same torso and leg pieces as the technician. Surely they'd be different?! The technician has a cool helmet with a face underneath that's different to all the other minifigs in the set and reinforces the fact that most of the First Order troops were snatched from their families when they were young. However, the stormtroopers disappoint in the head area. They have CLONE HEADS. Honestly LEGO, you made the effort to give the technician a different face, and we know that they WEREN'T clones, so why give them clone faces? Admittedly, you can't see it under their helmets, but you'd think if you were gonna give them the same face you'd give them a face different to that of the head used in practically every clone/stormtrooper so far in LEGO Star Wars history? Apart from that, the stormtroopers are epic. They have two different printings on their torsos, one with ammo and one just with armour. The printing is excellent, and it's really detailed for a small set. The helmets look really good, and I am really pleased with the minifigs.
If you want just a load of new stormtroopers and First Order people I would recommend this set, and I got it for my friend as a gift because it's cheap and he likes Star Wars villains. It's small, cheap and well built with good minifigs, so I'd say buy this set and the resistance pack for a mini battle and have fun! "

Generally good, the price sets it down...
" If you've read other reviews by me you'll know I do this on my parents account because I'm too young but I love Star Wars. Here we go again...
I got this set for my birthday from my NZ friend, and I really enjoyed building it. It was a quick build, so I could get straight on to playing with it. I got the Wookiee Gunship from my friend for Christmas, so I could make them battle and all that. The set itself is sturdy, and it can stand on it's wings when you fold them out. The two hatches and the moving joystick-y thing means it's easy to minifigs in which is good.
The minifigs that come with the set are:
TIE Fighter Pilot
Imperial Officer
The Inquisitor
The Inquisitor has a good lightsaber hilt true to the Rebels series, and his face and body have good printing. His armour has a hook for his lightsaber hilt to clip on which is handy and his helmet looks good. The other two minifigures have decent printing but aren't very interesting.
The spring loaded missile mechanism on this set works well as you twist the back to shoot them and the part you twist blends in well with the rest of the ship.
I haven't given it full marks because it doesn't have too many play features, and the Inquisitor is definitely the stand out minifigure as the others are average, but it's a good set, so if you like Rebels and can get it for a discount I recommend it. "

That's one brick of a pilot!
" I'm actually doing this on my parents account, as I'm younger than the age limit, but I love Star Wars, so here goes...
I bought this set for myself recently after saving up enough to buy it and have money left over. I bought it through Amazon as it was only £50, and after waiting for a week I finally got the set. The box was bigger than I expected, so that was a good sign. I built it in bags while doing a history essay, so it was annoying to see a half finished x-wing lying on the floor, but it made me appreciate how the build is made to be sturdy.
It wasn't particularly complex, but the brick separator did come in handy a couple of times. There was a very small amount of stickers, something I was very pleased with, as stickers are hard to put on and even harder to take off if it goes wrong! I'll just do pros and cons now...
Pros:
The minifigures are really well printed
The helmets have the visors built in, not printed on the faces
The x-wing is really sturdy
BB-8 is awesome and minifigure scaled really well
Colour scheme is shown really well
Troop carrier is kind of unnecessary but cool
Looks epic when it's complete
Cons:
Isn't exactly movie accurate, but I bought it more for play than display so I don't mind
Missiles kind of hard to reach
The bands holding the wings together are blue. Blue?! Seriously LEGO?! Why not black?! Oh well...
Overall the pros smash the cons by miles. I would definitely recommend this set. The new x wing looks almost exactly the same, and yet you can get this one for £20 less, so I say go for it and buy this one! If you really want it to be movie accurate you can change it yourself, but if you just want a TFA play type of set that looks cool and has good minifigs buy this set now! "
