"I think this is the best promotional set to come out this year! I love the minifigure, especially his torso cuz he has a giant LEGO logo on the back of his torso. The store build is a great display model, but the tiles do require stickers, which I do wish they were printed. The VIP card is removable, and I like the construction of the card, but it doesn't need to attach to the store, it seems out of place IMO. But both the card and store are great display models as I said, great set!"
"Never in my life could I have predicted that I would have the money to purchase a set of this caliber, but I got enough for my birthday, and I decided to spend it on the NINJAGO City. The build? ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! Final result? ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!! This building is so incredibly detailed, with so many little and big details, and yet there is still enough room for play, as well as play functions. There are so many positives that I have with this set, so I'll try to condense it: POSITIVES: -So many different colors and buildings, the three main levels are all different, yet they fit perfectly -The play functions are great, such as the ATM, sushi bar and the crab cooker. The elevator is cool, but it's very stiff, so be warned, and it's manual. -The detail is off the charts, everything from the water effect on the bottom to the tree growing out of the apartment on the top are all incredibly well done. The modules are greatly detailed on the inside as well, and I do mean EVERY one of them. -The minifigure selection is superb, you get so many new prints, minifigures, and useful hairpieces and torsos for any city builds you may have. -For 300 bucks, you get almost 5000 pieces, and it's a fantastic assortment of new pieces and new colored pieces, it's TOTALLY worth it NEGATIVES: -There are almost 60 stickers with this build, and a lot of them are incredibly hard to put on perfectly, so they were the only frustrating part of the build for me. -As I said, the elevator is stiff I know, I've gone on too long about this set, but this is truly one of the greatest sets LEGO has ever released, and the best set I've ever gotten. I highly, HIGHLY recommend!"
"This set has some very surprising elements in it that I was not expecting. First off, the good; the build looks great, I love the color scheme, and the inside is very detailed with LOTS of play features. The guardian dog figures are very cool, I love how you can move their legs about, giving them different faces, stances, etc. I really like how you get all the Ninja figures (except for Wu), and they all come with hairpieces, which is another plus for me. However, the play space for the build on the inside is miniscule, which makes it difficult for kids to play around with on the inside. As I said, it comes with a LOT of fun play features, such as a boulder drop, disc launcher, falling TNT, etc; but there isn't enough play space to properly use these with minifigures. Also, it comes with stickers, which I prefer printed pieces. The build I think is for both kids and adults, it works as a display model for adults, and kids can somewhat play with it, but again there should be more play space on the inside to justify all the play features, which I do enjoy."
"This is an underrated and overlooked Minecraft set in my opinion, because there are so many good-to-great things about this set, and I found no cons with it. The railway is designed beautifully, and the cart does move on it with no problem (just don't try going too fast). I like how you can take apart the modulars and make a whole new track, a very smart idea by LEGO. The minifigs are cool (although we've gotten plenty of Steve and Pigman minifigs), but the Magma Cube is brilliant; it actually hops up and down just like in the game, which is something I hope to see with the Slime cube eventually. Lastly, it's another great price-to-part and price-to-volume ratio set. Highly recommend!"
"First off, let me say that this is my first Ninjago set ever, because the theme honestly never appealed to me. But then the Movie sets came out, and something about them really intrigued me, especially the Fire Mech, so I thought I'd give it a try. And I have to say, I am blown away by this build. The size is huge, something that works just as well as a display model than a toy. Allow me to list some pros/cons: PROS -Size is impressive, but not too bulky either, meaning it doesn't want to fall over, which impressed me -The little play features like the disc shooters, the cockpit, and there's even an area on the legs to store Kai's swords -The color scheme is fantastic -The minifigure selection is great, you get two ninjas (Zane and Kai who both have great detail), two baddies, and two civilians, which could fit into a City -Price to part ratio is excellent, this is a great deal CONS -Stickers, I always prefer printed elements -The mech doesn't have working knee joints, which I would have liked, but at the same time I think had it had the knee joints, it would fall over continuously, so it's a con that's not really a con Overall, I'm very impressed by this set, and as someone who didn't know Ninjago very well, I will surely buy more soon. I highly recommend!"
"I really like this set overall. Yes,it's only two minifigures, but they're iconic as the set tells. Both of them are extremely detailed, and have unique features, such as the woman's hair is made of a soft rubber, which I wasn't expecting. The man has a neat beard, as well as a humorous face. Both come with clubs, which are also cool. Lastly, the box is another favorite printed LEGO box I've seen, I love all the cool details and funny things going on in the background, it reminds me of the Flintstones. Highly recommend!"
"Again, another mini LEGO Creative set that is just perfect for anybody. I love the different shades of green in this set, and the 3 little builds are adorable and effective. The set is a great buy for people who want parts, or for someone who can't buy the more expensive sets, this gets the job done."
"These little Creative sets are solid, and here is one in blue. I really like this one, specifically for the parts. The different shades of blue will help me for future builds, and the 3 builds that can be created are simple but effective. I think this is perfect for someone who can't afford big LEGO sets, cuz he/she gets to make 3 little builds at a great deal for 5 bucks, and for someone looking for more parts."
"After buying the Parisian Restaurant, I was inclined to buy another modular set, because all of them look like great deals, so I bought the Detective's Office. And once again, a LEGO modular has blown me away. Allow me to list my pros/cons PROS: -Great minifigs, my favorites are the barber and detective -NO STICKERS WOO!! -Great assortment of pieces, from different colored bricks to the profile brick that I appreciate, and even a mirror that will come in handy for my own creations. - Great deal, as I said with all modulars, considering the price-to-part ratio -Has very cool functioning features, from the drop-down ladder to the smuggling of the cookies which I thought was really clever CONS: -Just one, the space inside is hard to play with, for there isn't much room to put minifigs, and I continuously knock over pieces inside. Overall, this is a fantastic set, and even though I still like the Parisian Restaurant better, this set has play features, which the restaurant did not have, so I appreciate that. I recommend!"
"Yet another Creator set that offers the same features that other Creator home sets have had in the past, except this one can be made into multiple different looks. You can move the windows, sides, etc. around in every build to give each one a different look. I like that feature, it's a very unique and fun feature IMO. However, that does mean that picking up the creation is a bit difficult without breaking it. Also, the detail on the inside of the modulars is minuscule (like most Creator homes), but as I've said before, the builds all are functional, playable (somewhat), and the 3-in-1 aspect is very appealing to me. I recommend!"
