Do Not Buy As Stand Alone
" Vast improvement on the old one that came out when I was a kid. And I love how it works with Technic type pieces as well.
But not worth the money to buy one. They are coming packaged with so many sets at the moment you're better off just getting one that way.
I ended up with so many I was giving them away.

In short get your hands on one, but just get a cool set that comes with it already. Because every Lego fan would really want more Legos to use it on.

" Bought this for my nephews as a first set for them to put together 3 & 4. Cars where easy enough for them with a little help, other pieces I just made for them and put on my old Lego road pieces for a track.
I would recommend picking up two of these sets if possible as it comes with a second set of instructions to build a tow truck and 3rd race car.
The container leaves something to be desired. Doesn't click seal so very easy to have knocked over with Lego s everywhere. "
