Not Exactly What I Expected..
" Being a long time city collector and large-scale city builder, I was extremely excited to finally hear that Lego was releasing a new gas station after so many years. My first impressions of the set overall was that the vehicles and the service station shop were designed very well. The new car tires that Lego has started to use in the city line look fantastic and are a nice touch to the overall look of the cars. In addition, the details on the mini figures are outstanding and the new Octan torsos are great. In addition, the addition of the electric fuel pump is a great touch that adds a lot of playability and a modern feel to the whole station. While I feel there is so much detail in this area, the pump awning/covering however is an absolute eyesore when when compared to older Gas n Wash Express (for those who remember). In addition, the standalone price sign looks like an afterthought when It should be a prominent part of the overall structure. Besides that, the addition of a second set of instruction for a completely different build is a fantastic addition that i wish Lego did in more of its sets. Unfortunately, it seems that Lego has once again decided to raise its prices, as its initial price tag greatly hurts my desire to recommend it for new builders. However, if you can get over the price and a few design eyesores, this is a fantastic set with a great amount of playabitity and an overall great addition to anyone's city. "

GET IT BEFORE IT GOES!!!
" The LEGO airport is an incredible set that is way better than the previous one, and is a must need for all collectors. I have been collecting Lego city sets for 10 years, i have gotten my fair share of airplanes. Let me tell you that if you have gotten previous Lego airplanes, this one is 10x sturdier, more detailed, and fun to play with. Also, the control tower is awesome as well as the mini figs, which all are interesting. I also love the tram that carries the luggage as well. HOWEVER, there are several downsides. First off, i think that the airport is a bit small and could have been a lot more bigger and exciting. And also i can also say that i am missing not having the boardwalk that the passengers used to board the plane in the last airport. However, my final verdict is a 9/10 as this was very fun to build and a great addition to any city. "

FINALLY A NICE SIZED AMBULANCE!....BUT $20?!
" Its been a good 5 or 6 years now since the last Lego ambulance was out, a i can tell you that this one is 20 times better than the first. The ambulance is perfect in size compared to the last one and it looks GREAT along with its minifigures. Great amount of nice accessories including bike, medical cases, and others.....but $20!?!? An 2nd, WHY DID THEY MAKE THIS BEFORE THEY MADE THE HOSPITAL!? what were we supposed to due before they released the hospital, drive it around in circles and dump off injured people in the middle of the road?!! Overall a very nice set, but trying to build a city with one vehicle being $20 is a little hurtful to the budget. "
