Classic vessel
" There have been many versions of this ship since the movie came out and I finally got this. It was a pretty quick build and the extra minifigs such as the battle droid and droideka was a nice addition. I also appreciated that it came with a stand so it can be displayed properly. I actually purchased the mini version of this set (#9674) before I got the full size one so it turned out pretty nice. "

A Very Functional Model!
" I was eyeing the X-Wing for some time now. It was always that one iconic vessel in the Star Wars saga. I actually purchased the mini version (set 9677) and I thought it would be cool to have the mini and full versions. When I got this set it was actually easy to build because it resembled a modular build; bags #1 & #2 had the fuselage assembly and bags #3 & #4 had the wings. My younger brother wanted to build the wings so he did that and I took over the fuselage. We built it together in probably 15-20 minutes and the final model was pretty cool. Turning the knob on the back to put the wings in "attack mode" was a little scary because it felt like the model was going to snap in half but after a couple turns it actually felt solid. The minifigs that come are actually pretty cool as well. One thing I wish it came with was a stand just like the Naboo Starfighter because I have to close the wings in order to display it. Other than that, it's well worth its value. "

Nice layout
" This is the first Lego Architecture set I built and it was a quick one. During the process you get A LOT of those 1x1 tiles and keeping them aligned was crucial. The main feature I like about this set is that the windows actually let you see the chairs and tables inside and everything looks pristine. For the money though, I think I preferred the White House set because it had a lot more character to it and was about $10 less than this set but if you like the windows like I did then you still can't go wrong with this one. "

Lots of character!
" This was actually my first set from the Architecture series but I held off on building it (I built the Farnsworth House first). The detail of this set was magnificent and the building techniques were pretty clever in depicting the White House's character. There was one point where I was assembling a pretty abstract portion of the house and after a few steps I admired the Lego designer's building methods because I would've never thought of that! This actually took about an hour and a half taking my time and I actually made a few mistakes miscounting the correct location of a stud or a brick but those mistakes were easily spotted once the pieces start fighting each other. This was a VERY fun build and awesome display. Highly recommend this set in this price range. "
