"This set is ok for the price. The price per part ratio of ten cents is not quite there, however the MetalBeard figure and Batman's throne are still substantial. 70836 definitely feels like you get more than you would get from the CITY line for $20. Play features include opening MetalBeard's treasure chest, posing MetalBeard's legs, adjusting the crow's nest, and moving Batman's "You're Welcome" sign from side to side with a very simple geared mechanism. The Batman figure is probably the real highlight of the set. LEGO has not made any other Batman figures like this one before. I will let you look at the picture to see for yourself. Batman's shoulder armor is actual rubber, just like LEGO tires. All told, if you are a fan of the characters then go ahead and buy the set, but if you are somewhat into it wait for a sale before picking it up. This set is good, however, the best LEGO Movie 2 set of the smaller ones is definitely 70841 Benny's Space Squad."
"The LEGO Architecture Statue of Liberty will catch in eye in any house and it is instantly recognizable. Fans have complained about the lack of a face but I for one find it okay at this scale. The model consists of two main colors-tan and sand green, with some red, yellow, blue, and black used on the inside. Every detail on this model is absolutely, one-hundred percent accurate. Having visited the actual thing in New York City, I can tell you that the model has every detail captured perfectly. My favorite is layer of detail is the balcony level of the pedestal. For your money, the price-per-piece ratio is good however there are many small pieces as one can expect in an architecture set. The green 2x1 curved slopes are very numerous in the set and, take it from me, pay very careful attention to the one the instructions are asking you to place as I neared the end I had the wrong type left and I had to backtrack and I eventually found my error but just pay attention."
"This model will definitely stand out in any LEGO collection. Being nearly two feet by three feet a rather large display will be needed to house the beast. This is the best LEGO set to date. With a build time of 22 hours spread across three days this was definitely a challenge as no set I have previously completed has taken three full days to build. Some of my favorite features of the Falcon include the holes on the exterior and the ‘ground buzzer’ cannon which deploys in a carefully crafted mechanism."
"The Saturn V has got to be the best thing to come from LEGO Ideas thus far. Coming in at 100 centimeters tall it is sure to stand out in any collection. The build is very enjoyable. The most you ever have to repeat a step is four times and even that is not bad. The twelve numbered bags make for a simpler build but if you want to challenge yourself open them all up at once. The final product is sure to wow any fan or even non-fan of LEGO. All in all the Saturn V is a great, it's great for the money, and it is very instantly recognizable. The only tough part is getting your hands on one."
