Buildin' makes me feel good!!

" Ever since the release and relaunch of the franchise Ghostbusters, everyone had mixed reviews. So mixed it created a ripple in the universe~ AAAAAAAHHHH!!!

Kidding! Everyone was a bit harsh on this film, but everyone so far can agree this Lego set on the new film was a great pick up! SO lets start off....

Minifigures: We got all 5 of our main cast from this film, and each is given a great amount of detail. From double sides faces, to full body prints, these figures are top notch on detial and playability. The only one I have to complain about is Mayhem.

If youve seen the movie....This is not Mayhem. Mayhem was the HUGE greed Dragon ghost we see unleashed in the rock concert in the film. Which leads me to saying I wish that what we got, cause even the game shows a big fig of Mayhem. But if he was to be included, id love him as a translucent green buildable figure!! That wouldve been a nice touch but it would raise the price. Regardless it is what it is, I like it.

Acessories: The gadgets you get and build in this set are well represented in lego form. from the proton pack to the pke meter, its all well used here. I even used spare parts to create holtzmanns hand guns.

Vehicles: The Ecto 1 and 2, Holly Bricks these are great!! The Cycle is a fun little build with a ton of kibble, but the new Ecto 1 (1980's Cadillac Herse) is a very interesting build! No joke this has some of the most unique building thechniques to make it possible, not only to look like the herse, but to have an open door, and to sit all 4 figures into the herse!!!

This technique I wish was resolved for the original Ecto1, considering you cant fit all 4 inside normally. Who knows I may figure out how to make that work in the future.

NOTE: You have to put stickers on this build...I dunno why they did that...its odd and annoying.

All in all this set is well worth its bucks! It looks great next to the classic Ecto 1 as well as with the firehouse. What makes it more amazing, is seeing the old and new cast together as a huge team of past, and present. If you havent got this yet, its well worth it.

Spider-Man: Ghost Rider Team-up

Classic 90's Team-up brought back!

" Ghost Rider and Spider-Man teamed up back in the 90's to take down the Hobgoblin, and have teamed up in various comics. This lego set takes me back to those images I remember from the comics when I was just a kid. Its amazing to see these characters in brick form, and done so well!

With the set obviously coming with Spider-Man, it releases for the first time The Hobgoblin and the Spirit of Vengence himself, Ghost Rider!!!

Both Hobgoblin and Ghost Rider are represented at their best! Hobgoblin with his touble sided faces, torn cape and glider well built in design.

The Ghost Rider (Strangely) has a solid one piece head build. The fire on his head doesnt come off, but is a custom mold that looks beautiful for flames. His Motorcycle while 'BIG' does represent his 90's cycle but in a chopper like form.

Personally speaking with the Motorcycle in hand it looks better in person than it does in the picture (Which happens in many cases with Lego sets)

I cannot be more happy, that LEGO put this set together for the affordable $20 set that it is. 3 great mini figures, awesome accessories, I cant recommend this set enough. You wont regret the fun you'll have with these characters, and building this awesome set. "

Buildin' Makes me Feel Good!

" What can I say about this set that hasnt been said already??

This amazing, grand detailed piece is a one of a kind that should be owned by all who LOVE Ghostbusters!! Even those who dont, should buy this set regardless for their LEGO Cities due to this Firehouse in real life being an american icon! Hooks and Ladder 8 is one of the most iconic buildings in New York, and is an incredible piece to have here in my home with my other Lego sets.

For the set itself, It was an insane experience to build this Firehouse from the ground up! Hours and hours of carefully looking over every since picture in the instructions, making sure I didnt mess up the build. Their were times I had to tear a pice of it apart and build all over again because I got something wrong.

This was an elaborate experience Id love to do again with the upcoming Disney Castle. And this sets goes great with the old and new Ghostbusters sets.Again, I cannot reccomend this enough!! "

ZOIKS!

" I jus picked this set up and its a lot of fun with the new prints, new molds for the Classic Scooby Doo franchise. The set is simple enough with a fun, very easy gimmic to operate, and its enjoyable in that sense.

The figures you get are Shaggy, Scooby, and the Mummy. I love egypt sets so this was a no brainer with the two best stars. Again the prints are awesome on the heads, the Scooby mold is greatly done, and if I can get another of the same set to make it bigger, I would. Its a neat little beginners pack for any Scooby Doo fan! "

Old set re-mastered.

" Long ago when this set was released I couldnt afford to buy it and im glad I didnt. This re-released version of the Toy Shop is great!! :D

The roof compared to the older model was redone, we have new printed carolers', a printed 'Toy Shop' sign, and of course the toys. With all the new elements created over the last few years since then, they used to create new toys to add to this Toy Shop.

Overall if I could buy another to make it bigger I would. For now I love it the way it is and its a great re-tooling of the old model. I really hope they re-tool as well as make new ones for next year! "

" I personally dont own the game, but this was a no brainer to pass up because of that reason! I am a BIG Back To The Future fan, and even though I passed on the creator's set for personal reasons, but I am sooo happy this came out!

Marty McFly Figure: Great piece, the print is jus awesome to look at and display with my other figures.

The Mini Delorean: This was the most unique, fun mini build I ever built! It even has working Gull Wing Doors, that is a major bonus that they incorperated that feature into this little build! Personally this looks more like the delorean than the creator's set does, as odd as that may seem. And you get to build this in 3 different ways, one of them being the hover mode, which is cool.

The Hoverboard: Strangely enough the 'base' it sits on as an attachment has very little to do with the hoverboard in the game unless your using the other modes. I kept mine in the Ultimate Hover mode cause it make sense and looks awesome as an attachment.

I cannot wait to get Doc Brown to complete this set. "

" I finally got to pick this set, and after a week of stress I got to take some time for myself and build this little set. These sets are really amazing, their small, dynamic scenery is jus something to love and display for seasons to come.

This set in particular has unique features of having something going on inside the home and outside. The back wall, with the autumn leaves and the garden tools was a beautiful touch. The wine cabinet, the colors, the table, it all reminds me of my grandparents home when I was little, and those are special memories to me.

If every brick and mold was available for everyone to buy in the pick-o-brick, no doubt in my mind I would buy more pieces to make a larger scenery and build minifigs of my family so I can have it displayed for the season.

If you can buy this, please dont pass this gem up. These sets are amazing and I cannot wait for the Christmas sets to be released! "

Im Ant-Man! I know, wasn't my idea~

" I have been waiting for this Lego set since I heard the news, and Im sooo Happy I got this in hand!! !

The major build of this set is the giant Ant and the large scaled Lego bricks. The Ant is a really cool build, very interesting, and whats funny is that the set comes with actual Lego pieces that match the Large scaled counterparts, to show a size comparison.

The Lego figures of Hank Pym, Yellow Jacket, and Ant-Man are amazing!! So much detial, great helmet sculpts. Yellow Jacket is back heavy, so to level him out a bit I added the spare yellow clear pegs he shoots and made them large peg shooters. Looks better and helps keep him up.

All in all the set is a blast!! I cannot get enough of it!! Go get him before he shrinks off the shelves. "

Santa's Workshop, A Creator's Wonderland.

" I have never had an opportunity to buy any of the other Christmas Village sets' in the past, and it saddens me to say that. But this year I wanted to buy this set ever since I heard about it. Bought it on Black Friday, and got all the great deals with it as bonus! This set is a wonderful piece!!

Mini-figures: Santa is an amazing piece, and re-printed compared to the mini-figure series Santa. Mrs. Claus was so well done with her design and double side face. The elf's all are fun tiny figures, adding the mini-figure series elf makes me laugh cause now I made him look like Buddy the Elf.

Sleigh and Reindeer: The Sleigh was a unique build, and with how it was put together it made sense to have a bottom base to support the sleigh. The Reindeer was another interesting part. Interesting build, but I will be honest that I was a bit surprised that they weren't molded figures (like horses, dogs, etc) But it was a fun, unique build.

Santa's Workshop: Reading everyone else's reviews, I agreed on a lot and laughed a bit. In my personal experience with it, the only real flaw I have with it is the 'compact space' of it all. The ladder is in an odd spot, and doesn't hold well on the one element clip. Santa's studies feels a bit again, 'compact'. One thing that would be nice is if Mrs. Claus had a kitchen to bake her cookies and candy canes'.

However, that's what makes this set an amazing piece to me. In my perspective this set was made amazingly by the LEGO Creators, to get us started on something that can be more than what it is. As far as my concern is, we could be getting more LEGO Christmas Village sets that can be add on pieces to Santa's Workshop in the future. But in the present time we have no clue if that's a possibility, I have been using Lego Digital Designer to modify the same set and have been creating ways to make the set to my perspective.

Theirs always a way to obtain elements' needed to expand this set, but in my personal opinion i wish LEGO's 'Pick-a-Brick' had more element varieties available to buy. This way it would make it easier to not only prove my point, but allow me to build my other creations.

Conclusion: The price for this set was perfect for what it is, and that this set has a productive possibility of expanding the creativity level for fellow Master Builders to make it to their perspectives. This is my first LEGO Creator's set next to the free giveaways I got from this years line. And I look forward to seeing what may become of next years Holiday theme sets. "

Its building to look a lot like Christmas!

" I picked this up the first day I saw it, I absolutely love this little Lego set. A lot of fun, classic in ts own way, and a lot of possibility add-ons or additions to other Lego Holiday sets.

I even bought online at the pick a brick to add more to this Lego set so I could build more presents and trains. The only little pick I have at it is the light grey pieces that hold it all together. If it was Green i think it would look alot better, but thats just me.

Either way this is an amazing piece I recommend picking up before you miss out! Have a Merry Christmas, and a Happy, Brick Building New Year! =D "
