Very Good Technic Set
" This is a very good set. As it it a 2-in-1, I will review both models separately.
Compact Tracked Loader: I really like this model. It has many of the details of a real loader such as a working bucket and caterpillar tracks. Using the knob at the back of the loader, you can raise and lower the loader bucket. Something that I find annoying is that it takes awhile for the bucket to be raised and lowered, but this really cannot be remedied. A cool feature of the cab are the two levers on the sides of the seat that would, in a real loader, control the caterpillar tracks. Overall, a great first half of this 2-in-1 set.
Snow Groomer: This half of the set is great as well. I don't know much about snow grooming, but this model is fun to play with. The "plow" on the front can be raised and lowered, but not angled, it has to stay straight. On the back is a crane-type-thing, the identity of which no one seems to know exactly, but is fun to play with. My biggest complaint is that the stickers that go to the Compact Tracked Loader end up in weird places on the Snow Groomer. For example, (although it doesn't show this on the sample picture) the piece that goes on the dashboard in the loader and has a sticker on it, ends up right on the front of the Snow Groomer. You can't see it looking at the set from above, but you can when you look at the front. It looks quite unattractive. A couple other stickers end up in odd places but that one is the most visible. If you take away the sticker issue, the Snow Groomer is a great second model in this 2-in-1 set. "

Buy Technic Pull-Back Sets!
" Very good set! The build was great. The angled pull-back motor is unique among these types of sets. Once built, the Desert Racer will go over ramps and is very tough for the most part. Very good playability. The winch is very cool, but if left dangling may become tangled in the front wheels. This can easily be remedied if the winch is attached to the Technic piece behind it. My one complaint is that the roll cage, which can be opened, seems kind of flimsy, only being attached to at the back. Personally, I have never had problems with the roll cage, its just my opinion. The steering wheel is a very cool-looking piece that I admire. Overall, if you are looking for a Technic set with very good playability, any pull-back racer is for You!
On a side note, some other people I know have these sets as well. When you compare the performance of the different pull-back sets, you can see that the Black Champion Racer and the Record breaker are definitely built more for speed than off-road or jumping ability. The Record Breaker can't really clear a ramp at all but is super fast for example. The Quad Bike and Desert Racer (which I am reviewing here) are much better for off-road and ramp jumping. If you plan to buy a pull-back set, keep in mind what kind of performance you are wishing for. "
